Food was ok, a lot of fried food on the menu. We showed up in the evening after a long day at a customers. We sat down and the male waiter tells us basically they are closing soon so no taking our time to choose from the menu. He was slightly rude about it. We looked at the time. We had an hour and 30 mins left before they closed. So was uncalled for, felt like the staff didn't want to work. Overall was a mediocre experience. Because of the waiter interaction we will go some where else when we are there for business in the future.
I was looking forward to dinner here on a family weekend trip. We started with the pretzel appetizer, which was great, and the only thing worth paying for aside of our drinks. My family if 4 all had meals that came with fries. The fries were all cold and rubbery. Simply disgusting. I brought this to the servers attention to which she responded that she had received many complaints and maybe the fries were "old or expired". They truly tasted like they had been cooked yesterday and sat around until then. Their was no attempt to remedy the fries and we ended up paying for them, despite not eating them. My daughter had the fish and chips and her fish was soggy. My husband and I both had the "brueben" aka rueben sandwich in which the bread was wet and soggy opposed to toasted. Extremely dissatisfied and will not return.
Overall, we had a decent visit here. We both grabbed beer flights, and our favourite brews were Batch 69, the Hot Rocket Jalapeño Blonde, and the Christmas Beer — which came with a cinnamon-sugar rim that was such a nice festive touch. Really enjoyed that. For an appetizer, we ordered the Truffle Parmesan Tots, and those were awesome — crispy, flavourful, and a great start to the meal. For my main, I went with the Brewery Burger. It was okay — not bad, not great. The bacon was crispy, and I liked that they served a fresh leaf of lettuce on the side instead of letting it steam on the burger. I just wish the patty itself was juicier, and a lot of the flavour ended up coming from the oil of the onion rings. Very average overall. My wife ordered the vegetarian Southwest Bowl and really enjoyed it — super fresh, and the cilantro amount was perfect. The one big downside: she found a piece of pulled pork in her supposedly vegetarian meal and had to pull it out of her mouth. Definitely something they need to be more careful with, especially when it comes to dietary restrictions. Worth checking out for the beer, but the food was a mixed bag for us.
Seasonal beer, pumpkin chuckin, was really good. The fish and chips were light and crispy. The brat was really good too. Service was exceptional!
Husband and I stopped in to try out and have a drink appetizers and lunch...my husband stepped outside to take a business call and went to the parking lot side to be out of the way and not disturb anyone. While outside he was approached 3 times by a blonde woman who starts questioning him.he explains he is on a call and she gets VERY nasty with him and says she does not want him near her business on the phone. He explains its a business call and his wife is inside currently eating and drinking and spending money and she gets very nasty and storms away!!! I found out her name is Karen and she claims to be the owner...obviously she doesn't care about customers or how she presents herself so we will never be back and I will make sure to tell everyone of our experience.
I would highly recommend this place. The staff is awesome and there are so many good options for beer or spirits. Very nice deck for outdoor dining and a cool merch shop.
They have handicap parking but no ramp to the bathrooms. I am permanently disabled and can do stairs now but if I was still in a wheelchair I would be even more upset. They might as well get rid of the parking . They have probably been grandfathered in because of the age of the building but it was completely rebuilt after being destroyed by a tornado so should have been required to upgrade…..
Delightful experience at this local brewery! Their beer selections are incredible. The wait staff and bartenders re hospital and knowledgeable of the beers. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating
Very good service. The salad was good. The barbque sandwich was not the best so I would skip it. Good selection of beer. Seemed like every thing else in town-touristy.
My husband and I each had a 20 oz beer which were about room temperature. I decided to add ice to my beer. I ordered the build your own burger which came with fries, both my burger and fries were also almost room temperature. My husband ordered a brat that came with only a few crumbles of sauerkraut and was also room temperature. Was very disappointing! The waitress gave us half off the food but it wasn't ever worth the half price. We have been to the brewery in the past, a few years ago and we remember it being much better. This place has definitely gone downhill!

Clearly understaffed. The ladies working the check-in were not very friendly. People were waiting to buy things in the gift shop and were just ignored. The food was slow coming out. The brats and fries were not great. The fajita bowl had unseasoned rice and was not particularly hot. It was noisy inside and little kids screaming. The patio had tables, but there wasn’t enough staff to seat people out there. Would not go there again.
We went during a nonbusy time. Lots of room and staff. Ordered brewery burgers and bulgogi bowls. Both were very tasty. Good variety of beer. Ordered a flight plus Lighten up Francis. Only issue, would loved to have sat outside, but was told it was closed for an event. They sat us inside next to the outside area. Overall a good experience.
Came here because it was advertised as dog friendly. It is not! The drink selection was dismal. Ordered the brew en. The sandwich was ok, the corned beef was tough. Came with an unusual coleslaw. Not a fan.
Great food, excellent beer, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. So glad we stopped by during our short visit to Frankenmuth
The last two visits to this place were incredibly disappointing compared to previous years. Food quality has gone WAY down hill. In March I was served a burger that obviously came out of a prepared freezer package. No flavor. Last week I had the Brew Ben sandwich. Very mediocre. I would avoid the food here and stick with a beer at the bar. They need to get their act together again in the kitchen. VERY below average food.
