Since the new owners took over in ‘24, I’ve been here to eat 5 times. Unfortunately 4 of those 5 times it was terrible. Ive had terrible service 3 of the 5 times and terrible food 4 times. The constant turnover of young cooks and apparent lack of training, on how to use a deep frier is evident. The $14.00 to $15.00 price tag for most of their dinners is way too much for the food quality coming out of the kitchen. I’ve given it my last try and have done my due diligence, giving them every opportunity to “work out the bugs”. Also, apparently their kitchen exhaust fans are inoperable because the entire place wreaks of heavy food and grease smells. You can even see it hanging in the air, it’s that bad. Your clothes will smell like it when you leave. I’ve never been in any bar or restaurant that wreaks this bad….. no exaggeration!! For the money that you will spend here, it would be better spent somewhere else. We won’t be back!!

This is a small cozy bar on Gera Road just outside of the main drag of Frankenmuth. They redesigned the menu not long ago and are featuring their smash burgers. I am not a *massive fan* of those as I prefer a thick hamburger patty cooked medium rare, but I know they are a popular cuisine these days.
The rest of the menu is fairly standard pub grub. Our table had a smash burgers, wings, and chicken tenders. Everything tasted good. And we enjoyed live rock / blues music by Cruz Control, who sounded great 🎸 🤘

It was a nice tavern just not sure what kind of patrons loiter here. It's look like all kinds. I would of thought it was a country establishment. Nothing stuck out at me to differerant the difference. We need more country bars.

Decent place if you are thirsty and need a bite. Tried the Friday fish dinner soecial and it was disappointing, 3 small pieces, way overbreaded and overcooked. Fries were good. Others that had burgers were happy. Service was spotty but adequate. Some draft beer selection but not a bunch.

Stopped in for lunch and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly with an initial greeting as soon as I walked in the door. I was recommended the French dip from the bar tender/ server Amanda which did not disappoint in any way. The server Amanda was friendly and kind with some of the fastest order in to plate in front of me time I’ve ever seen. Absolutely will be returning and recommend to all!

Food was excellent. Not busy at the time we were there but the waitress was very inattentive.
I would like to give more stars but just can't, me and my girlfriend stopped for lunch regardless of bad experiences in the past, we were first shocked at the prices, I had what I thought would be a bowl of chili for $9 (more than double the price of local competitors) and received a cup of chili which was quite bland, my girlfriend got their special which was nachos, it has completely unseasoned meat that looked like someone just chopped up hamburger patties and threw them on there. The waitress / bartender was more into her phone than doing her job, she went to refill my pop and filled it and then sat it on the bar and was typing away and smiling at her phone for a good 5 mins before she brought it back to me. Needless to say for the price point we expected alot better quality food and service. This is the 4th bad experience in a row so we will not be returning.
