This was a good experience. I was glad on my walk in Frankenmuth I made this my choice for food and drinks. The food was a 7/10 & the drinks were a 7/10. All was reasonably priced. Get there early because it was packed at 5 pm on a Saturday. There is an enclosed outdoor area but drink up because it was chilly. There were heaters, but they were not on. I will return soon due to the chilled ambiance.

I want to start by saying that I would give this place a 4.5 if I could.
We went in during a busy holiday weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We just walked in and they were still able to seat us quickly. The place is small but it has a very comforting and welcoming vibe.
We started off with their soup of the day- which was pumpkin based. Not a big pumpkin fan and yet I have to say it was surprisingly one of the best soups I have had. We next got the Honey whipped ricotta with ciabatta. It was equally good. I have a feeling the bruschetta and other appetizers would also be great. For our mains we got the Gnocchi Pomodoro which didn't quite hit the mark. While the portion size was generous, I wasn't a fan of the texture of the gnocchi. It seemed a little chewy and dry which didn't hold the sauce too well. We also got the Chicken wrap with the side salad. Simple yet very flavourful. The aioli used in the wrap really lifted up the flavor of the wrap. Also tried the old fashioned rum which was good too.
To top it all our server surprised us with some fudge and a champagne toast along with a cute card to celebrate our anniversary. It was such a warm gesture and really made our dinner special.

The outdoor inside area was a bit cold. Entries were small.

Food was good, not a lot of options , but decent food quality. Atmosphere in the main part of the winery is nice. However, the waittress and supposed manager (who looked like a young girl) were slow and rude. I ordered a hot chocolate drink and it was so sweet that I couldn't drink it. I ask for coffee to mix with it a d it took 30 minutes to get it. By that time, the hot chocolate drink was cold. When I told the waittress, she ignored me, then never returned to the table except to bring the bill in which she charged for two coffees. We asked for the manager, since she never came back after almost 20 minutes. We had it corrected, paid and left. We got down the street about a half .Ile and I remembered that I left my gloves on the table. We went back immediately and the table was cleared and the gloves weren't there. The manager offered no help to see if they were turned in, but simply stated, "you can go and look for them around the table". They weren't there. The next day I went back before the restaurant was open and a very nice young man said that he would look in "lost and found". They weren't found and it feels like the restaurant staff or manager may have taken them. They were expensive gloves. What a disappointing experience. I wished that we never would have went to this restaurant. For two appetizers and two drinks, it cost $50+ dollars and my gloves.

The best part of our visit was Bryce our server, my food was OK, unique atmosphere, the chips were good, the French dip sandwich was average at best.

I was not a fan. Dark, 130*. Felt like I was in an oven even though is was 25* outside. Food was just blah. Did I mention it was dark and hot inside? So dark I had to light up the menu with my phone.

We were not impressed with the food here :( especially the pretzels. Being in a German town, I was craving a big, fresh, homemade soft pretzel. These were definitely just the frozen kind you get at the store or at a high school basketball game. An auntie Anne’s pretzel would have been 10x better.

My wife and I ate here and enjoyed everything. Prost has a wonderful vibe, excellent service from Nate and a nice drink selection to complement the menu. For us, we chose the 6 selection charcuterie and a side of oil and bread. Our Rose’ and Cabernet went well with the board and couldn’t have asked for a better date night with my wonderful wife.
