I know why their chicken is world famous?? It's because it's the worst chicken in the world I had the 3 piece white meat dinner, it was cold, dry and totally tasteless, I can't believe they stay in business serving such bad food.

Everything was bland ! I ordered the pot pie and it was absolutely horrible! My husband had the Fried chicken and it was so bland and all the sides were mushy .. It was a real disappointment! We will never go back !

We frequent Z's Cafe. But our last two visits have us thinking something has changed with management and not in a good way. Portions are smaller to the point it feels like you are being cheated. Today the steam tables seemed to be either off or not working and the food was room temperature. My wife ordered the Plowman's dinner and told the man who served it that it didn't have enough chicken on it. He told her the portion was correct and if he added more there would be an upcharge. Because we went three times this week (my wife gets on a kick lol) and she got the same thing each time, she and I both know that the portion wasn't correct today. I got the chicken with gravy sandwich and the story was the same... An insulting portion for the price and cold on top of it. So needless to say it will be awhile before we go back.

Went there expecting outstanding food but completely disappointed. Chicken was very bland sides were without seasoning. Best thing going for them is the service. Very busy and still got seated within 25 minutes. Dropped 85 for two people for dinners that we could not finish. Sorry but KFC has you beat.

First time here. Husband got the 1/2 rotisserie chicken dinner, mashed potatoes, gravy and stuffing. I got the 4 piece tender meal with mashed potatoes, gravy and corn. Both our meals were cold, not enjoyable to eat at all. We mentioned to manager. They replaced my tenders, still cold, couldn't even eat them. We ate very little. Very disappointed in the whole experience and meals. Talked to manager, kind of shrugged his shoulders, said he was sorry, acknowledged it and that was about it. Will not recommend.

I live in town and anxiously wait for the summer chicken salad at Z's Cafe...James took care of me twice with his 5 star customer service and happy smile...he took his food handling glove off to shake my hand...James deserves the Employee of the Year award!!!!

Such accommodating people and great service. We came to try the chicken. It was really good. Lightly breaded, moist and gently seasoned. The sides were delicious; cranberry relish, Spaetzle, baked apples and bread pudding! We took our order to go.
