This is a venerable restaurant that still has the outdoor parking and drive in movie intercoms for service, along with a nice indoor dining area. The food is exactly what you remember-- burgers, fried foods, salads and root beer floats. We typically go for the fish which is special on fridays, its generous portions of cod, includes a salad and fries and isnt unreasonable. Great staff and the right ambiance are all I need to be happy and well taken care of at a restaurant.
Chili dogs, foot long, are the best, delicious deal here. Root beer the tastiest. Service is prompt and very friendly. Super clean in a retro type decor and atmosphere. Fun. Delicious. Enjoy!
7 adults for supper on a Sunday evening in July. Seated without a wait. The atmosphere is definitely nostalgic if you're of a certain age, but it looks to have not had any renovation in decades. Our server was kind and helpful.
