Unbelievably expensive.. $4.50 for legit a half cup of chocolate milk. Beautiful setting but definitely not worth it for the price.

We happened upon this gem on Labor Day coming home from Empire. The staff was friendly, the food was fresh and fantastic. Highly recommend the French Toast Monte Cristo.

We’re on holiday. We hoped this would be amazing. Server didn’t seem to know the menu, they offered steaks ( there were non). Worst calamari I have ever had. Corn crab bread with hardly any crab. Very expensive and very very average. Total disappointment. Outside area fees like a cafe instead of best restaurant in town. Only shining light was a good negroni cocktail.

Skip the fish tacos unless you enjoy overcooked fish sticks. Staff is good.

This is one of the best breakfast spots in Northwest Lower Michigan. They take reservations, unlike a lot of places around here. The food is always amazing, and the menu has something for everyone. I especially enjoy the omelettes and the French Toast Montecristo. The coffee is also always great. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The only element that could elevate the breakfast dining experience here is fresh-squeezed juices. I can't recommend Birch & Maple enough.

One of my very favorite spots. It makes me wish I lived closer to Frankfort! I would pick something specific about the menu but there's no wrong choice. The staff are hard working and professional(not to mention friendly). There may be a longer wait but you can join the line and check where you're at on your phone. Plenty of cute shops nearby to check out while waiting. They are also on a beautiful water front. What better way to wait than relaxing on the beach? It's well worth the wait if there is one.

Great place. The Bloody Mary is outstanding. Recommend spicy. Went for brunch/lunch and enjoyed the tacos while wife had salad. Kids devoured French toast.

It was a bit disappointing. It had charm but went too far with overly cluttered dishes and a bit overpriced. The bread was really good.

B&M has been pretty good since it opened a few years ago.Today, something was very off in the kitchen. Smash burgers were burnt to charred, bitter, crunchiness. One was inedible and B&M was preparing another, which we assumed would not take as long as the first two. It never came. The owner explained that between our first order (11:30 AM) and the second (12PM) the kitchen got slammed. I don’t think the first 2 should have gone out and the cook should have just started 2 more. Chicken and Waffles was okay, iceberg salad was okay, my Scottish salmon with pickled eggs and arugula was okay, too, but the English muffin was burnt black. We will go back, but probably not until September, after the rush.
Too bad, the place was very promising for a few years.
