Great neighborhood Resturant and Bar. Food was delicious and the portion sizes are huge. Had to take home 3/4 of the dinner. Staff was friendly. Highly recommend. The only downside was parking. Had to park in the back and there was not enough lighting there. Having to walk in the dark with all the potholes is the only reason I didn't give them a 5 star.

So so very sad to see this wonderful neighborhood place close!!! We absolutely loved coming here!!!! No other place like it! It will truly be missed! I only hope the new owners don’t change the coziness of it! There are plenty of big bars and restaurants around!

This was my family of 5 first visit to FG. The food was very satisfying. We started the night with the sweet chilli shrimp, which was a hit for everyone at the table. Then, I ordered ribs with side salad and the chicken picata. The children had bolegnes and chicken strips (typical). Server Sidney was very welcoming. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Dan, very nice. Special shout out to the head chef, Andrew?,. The locals were also very friendly. Could definitely tell they knew we weren't from around there. We all loved the atmosphere and would consider returning but without kids next time.

Awful experience. We will never be back. I forgot why I don't go there then remembered. My boyfriend and I walked towards the other end of the bar where we were rudely redirected by "Scott" the bartender who clearly runs the circus. To go squeeze in between all the people at the other end because the bar spots were reserved. He was extremely aggressive, rude and unkind. At first I thought maybe he'd warm up but he honestly just got worse. We ordered calamari (which was absolutely disgusting, clearly frozen... not breaded... topped with soggy onions and peppers... just yuck) and the sliders. We asked for pickles on the side and when he aggressively asked if everything was okay from ten feet away... I politely said I do not want to yell across the bar so he was annoyed he had to walk up to us and talk because "I am busy" he said. Isn't that your job? Ridiculous.I pointed out there were pickles but ya it's fine can pick off. He was so rude and inconsiderate about his mistake acting like it was my fault? We will never be back and I do not recommend.

If they were going for a restaurant out of 1775 they nailed it. If the servers wore pilgrim outfits it would make more sense as to what is happening here. This place hasn't had a good update since it was built. I feel like at any moment someone will start passing out the bingo cards. We got seated upstairs and it felt as if I was at my grandmas knitting club dinner. Dissatisfaction is an understatement and the mere fact I have to give one star makes me mad. I want my money back already for making me feel depressed just by sitting in here. If you're looking for adequate service with manners, think again. Staff does not serve correctly. There should be no reason why the gentleman who I believe to be a bus boy it's holding 4 water glasses against his chest in the hopes they don't drop. Give these servers trays... unless you like someone's fingers in your fresh cup of water.

I'll sum this up real quick... great ambiance and outdoor seating... very average food. The outdoor area is great. It feels like you are on vacation dining here, but the food feel flat. The good stuff- the French onion soup was very tasty and not too salty. The caesar salad was good and came with anchivoies which I love. For my main dish I had the chicken pot pie, which came in a bread bowl... this threw me off. The best part of a pot pie is a crust and it totally missed the mark. It was 70% potatoes and I think I counted a total of two carrots in the entire dish. Not sure I would go back.

Ate outside in the enclosed all seasons dining facility. Be prepared for a abundance of food. Most entrees will serve two. Wednesday is bbq ribs night. Two racks of well prepared ribs easily served three people with enough left over for another another meal.I had the meat loaf with mashed potatoes, gravy. and spinach. Just barely finished half and brought the other half home. Everything was served hot and well presented. A great dinning experience for al.

Cozy place. Food is great, drinks are great. The place is a very old building from the 1800s, has quite a charm to it. Recommend this place.

Staying nearby for work and found this place on Google. Cool place to sit and have a drink but the food was not good. Specifically, we ordered the ribs and bolognese. Under seasoned and underwhelming. Nowhere near the quality for the price point.

Very disappointing meal here yesterday evening. We were offered rolls at the end of our meal instead of at the beginning. My husband had a hamburger, the roll could not hold the ingredients and soon became soggy and impossible to eat. He never received his coleslaw. The fries were cold. New beers were listed on the menu which had not arrived yet and we were charged $2 more for each beer. $4 was taken off the bill but not good to be charged more than the listed price on the menu.
