Ordered the famous ham breakfast. Food was OK. The ham was dry and got cold very quickly. They did come by about 38 times to top off the coffee, so I never had to worry about drinking cold coffee. The ladies were nice and the atmosphere is very old school diner. The prices are VERY reasonable.
This is how a café is supposed to be for breakfast. I came here with my kids, and had no less than 3 different people ask if I had my drinks ordered. The food was done right, and to the liking of my kids, who tend to be picky eaters. My omelette was cooked perfectly, and the grits were delicious. For a breakfast and lunch place, I recommend it not just for the food, but for the service. Everyone was highly professional. I'll make this a regular stop.
This place has top-notch service bar none. The waitstaff are friendly and efficient, the food is good and while not tops on ambiance, the staff are friendly and make the atmosphere 5 stars. The prices remain competitive, in an extremely competitive market. I go to a few places for breakfast and Liz’s is always on the short list.
