Ate in and got a side salad, two rolls, and a single piece of nigiri. Salad was generously portioned but lacked the usual fresh vegetable garnish like sliced cucumber and edamame that are common at other places in the area. Tempura sushi roll was fine, though not very crispy. Nigiri salmon was tough, not the texture you expect from usually buttery salmon.
The final roll is why I'm rating one star. The moment the first piece touched my mouth I almost gagged. It smelled and tasted like rotten fish. I'm the kind of person who can happily devour even the lowest quality sushi, but this was vile. Something was either expired or not properly temperature controlled. Paid for my meal and left it on the plate. Service was great but that can't make up for being served inedible food. Would not recommend to anyone.

Food here is good and service used to be good. The past few times it took over an hour because the service was so slow with no one else in the restaurant. Can usually guarantee our order will be messed up in some way, sometimes twice. It really sucks because this used to be the best sushi place in the area but now I can't recommend it.

The love salmon roll is delicious and the nigiri is the best I’ve had since moving from Florida to Michigan!

I have no photos, no real "professional profile", just a returning customer who falls in love with the food each time I eat there.
Google doesn't let me specify which roll specifically, I recommend and will always recommend the Michigan Roll, one their specialty rolls, $12, quickly became my favorite. From the price being so much more than worth it, it is always amazing. Grilled, smoked salmon; deep fried imitation crab; avocado; cream cheese; all topped with their avocado sauce and another sauce I can't remember the name of? It is my favorite sushi roll by far, and has ruined all other Sushi for me.
The staff is wonderful, only having a not so savory experience only ONCE with a cashier/waiter, in the 9+ times I've ordered in, or take out. Always so kind, checking in every so often when I've dined in.
The atmosphere is very comfortable, and very warm feeling, never very loud, and you can hear the sushi chefs preparing orders from anywhere you sit. TVs facing to the west and to the south have played collages of nature images whenever I've gone, and it makes waiting just a bit more enjoyable if you aren't in the company of a friend or loved one. The lighting is also very warm, and adds to the comfortable atmosphere of this little hidden sushi shop ❤️

1st time visit, was there based of recommendation from near by business. I ordered Shrimp and Chicken Fried Rice. I asked for Xtra Mushrooms (didn't get it). The Shrimp was overcooked (chewy, not buttery), Chicken was overcooked (very dry) and I asked for NO edamame (but I got it anyways)! #WTH will not be back. However, Ashley, my waiteress was very nice, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Do have pics but it won't let me post Google.!?!?

5/5 stars, the sweetest staff, food is always amazing, they have aquarium videos playing on the tv which is ALWAYS a plus. I’ve been going here for years and never had a bad experience. Cooks and waiters are the sweetest, shout out to Ashley who served me tonight. Super kind, wonderful energy, and cool hair. Overall, completely recommend. There’s food options for everyone too!

A quiet little place way, way back off Garfield & 14 Mile. In fact, I've driven by a hundred times and hadn't even seen it. Even when headed there I missed it the first time. It's behind Fraser Lanes.
The menu is the biggest sushi menu I've ever seen! And well laid out, too. Nigiri, sashimi, vegetable rolls, basic rolls, tempura, a huge list of signature rolls (loved the Habibi & Fireman rolls), and the regular you'll find most everywhere. And something I've never seen before at any sushi place in any state I've been to: fruit rolls. Dessert sushi.
Great descriptions for everything, always helpful even if you're not new to sushi.
Prices range from $2 - $15 per item depending on complexity and contents.
I ordered 2 basic rolls (the eel, my favorite) & the Habibi & Fireman rolls. Total was about $33 pre-tip and everything was terrific. I only waited about 10 minutes for my order to be made, too. I'll will definitely be back here.
Vegetarian options: There is a section labeled for vegetarians. And then there are the fruit rolls.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a curb cut close to the front door. Watch that door, though, it didn't open all the way when I used it
