my 12 year old grandson is a vegetarian and picky so finding someplace for take away that pleases everyone is hard in a small community. I'm glad I decided to try Doc's! My grandson has been telling everyone how great the fish tacos I got him were! They unfortunately got my husband's order wrong, but because we were home already he ate it anyway. It was still worth it, listening to the grandkid enjoy every single bite of his tacos! My husband and I will definitely be trying the prime rib on a "date" night hopefully soon!
First time at Doc's. Went on a Monday, our group was seated right away. Phillys, Chicken Burrito, and Burger, Onoin Rings, and French Fries were had by our group. Food was good, French Fries were EXCELLENT! Our server Bella gave us great, friendly service! We will definitely be going back!
Very poor service and food quality
The shrimp was wimpy, the chicken soup was way too salty, couldn't eat it.
I recently tried Docs On The River for the first time and was very impressed with the food and service! I ordered the special — the prime rib dinner. The prime rib was very flavorful and perfectly cooked. Mashed potatoes and veggies were also excellent. Highly recommend.

Doc's had been a favorite go-to for us in the past, so we'd been looking forward to its reopening. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Although it wasn't busy on a Tuesday 530pm when we started (there was a line waiting when we left), the service was extremely slow. Our appetizer of onion rings was (IMO) out of a frozen bag, pale, and very few. My upgrade to sweet potato fries was likely frozen and heated, consistency of rubber. My son's Walleye dinner was one piece only, and the fish stuck to the skin with several sharp bones. The "baskets" were small portions. The coleslaw I got had an off flavor and appeared to have been left out too long - took one bite and left it. We may return for Prime Rib night hoping for better? For 3 people, the bill came to $80, $90+ with tip, and normally I wouldn't mind, had the quality of food and service been better.

We had a group of 8. Took us over an hour to get served and then about another hour to get food. I order wings and fries and was last to get my wings and no fries until almost done with wings. Others food was wrong and over done. It was so loud in there. The manager did give us compensation. But will not be going back. Miss the old Doc’s.

It was our first time at Doc’s tonight. I had the pleasure of meeting my brother Bob, I mean Rob. My husband asked him for a Military Special and Coke, and all he could serve him was a Jack and Coke. I asked for a garbage bag to take my left overs home, and he stated that was too expensive so instead I got a cardboard box. The food was better than an MRE I guess. In all seriousness, we had a great time with great people and really good food!! We will definitely be back again!!
