Bayne’s is more than just a cider mill - it is a total Michigan experience. I was in the area visiting for the Detroit marathon and couldn’t be happier with my time. 3 hours went by in the blink of an eye! My girlfriend and I had lunch in the cafe and sampled some of the best draft beverages Michigan has to offer - including a Homes IPA that is exclusive to their tap house in Ann Arbor and Baynes! There is truly something for everyone - draft cocktails, hard cider, and a variety of IPA’s from near and far in Michigan. The owner mentioned to me that they have a new chef - the food was out of this world! A wide selection of sandwiches, soups, salads and appetizers with generous portions! Our favorites were the brisket sandwich and a beef teriyaki soup. After lunch, we had some freshly pressed cider and donuts on the back deck, taking in the relaxing and scenic fall atmosphere! Most importantly, the Coughlin’s (the family that owns the business) are truly a special family that make you feel like a long time friend from the moment you walk in. They take pride in learning your story and ensuring your experience is special. I can’t say enough good things about this place - perfect for all ages and a must do for the fall season!

It’s one of my FAVORITE Apple Orchards to visit when I’m in Michigan! My nutty caramel apples are my favorite and the young lady who sliced my apple was well appreciated! The apple cider is always the best! The donuts were great too.

Came in and was confused of the process for ordering drinks and food. Some tables were served at their table and others had to go to the bar, seemed like there was special treatment for people they knew. We tried to order food after the table next to us had their order taken and was told the kitchen had closed at 6. We said the table next to us had just had their order taken and they said well they have been here longer than you.
We then tried to get another drink and was told last call had already happened. Then the bartender was going to certain tables and getting them another drinks way past this.
Their times and process for ordering just need to be made more clear. Should not be separate policies for certain people and not others.

Great lunch. I had the turkey Gouda sandwich on cranberry walnut bread. I’ve had it before and it was still as good as I remember. Split the sandwich with my husband and we both had a cup of soup. Everything was great, excellent service. There are fresh doughnuts in the shop as well as a nice selection of local Michigan products. I bought some maple syrup. Buy and support local small business.

Not the same place as everyone remembers. Used to be a family must see in Michigan. Just a bar with eh food now. Sad to see the actual baynes go.

Fun trivia night, and a good selection of regular and hard cider.
Wish I could give more stars. We come every week for trivia and there is always something new to try. The staff is so friendly and inviting and the food is amazing every single time. My guy always gets the Cuban, but I like to bounce around the menu. Right now, I'm loving the Cavatappi Burro with Shrimp and the Pretzel and Cheese dip. Also, the cornbread is to DIE for.
They've also got all my fave wines and ciders from the wineries up in Leelanau.
Awesome atmosphere, amazing people, delicious food, and tons of great ciders on tap. I love it here.

We came out to bayne's to have dinner and didn't realize we had looked at the lunch menu when we looked to see what my mom (who is vegetarian) could have for dinner. When we mentioned it to our server, she asked around to see if she could accommodate my mom's request and they absolutely did accommodate her. I'm so impressed with everything, as my mom was just going to work with what they had available, but the owner came to the table, asked a couple of questions and reassured us that it wasn't a problem. So thank you so much for making our night and serving us delicious food! We will definitely be back, especially for some delicious hard cider! ❤️
