Warm and friendly server / waitress. Didn't wait long for the appetisers and main foods which was tasty .visiting the area with my husband and my friend would recommend this establishment. Would be a frequent visitor but I am on holiday from England with a friend visiting my husband from michigan.

We placed a to-go order on a Saturday night, when I arrived to pick up our food the bartender quickly realized she had forgotten to put it in. I could tell she felt awful, but it was a busy night for them and we’ alI make mistakes. I tell her not to worry and that I will just wait, she asks the kitchen to rush the order and they assure me it will not be more than 10 minutes. When our order was complete the owner brings me the food and apologizes. I tell him not to worry and try to hand him my credit card and he refuses to take it, telling me this order was on him. I tried to convince him to let me pay but he wouldn’t hear it. The bartender again apologized as I left and was so kind the whole time I was waiting.
My family and I have been to The Squirrel many times and this is not an anomaly. The owner and staff are kind and hardworking locals that care about their customers. If you’re looking for a good meal in Fremont, definitely stop by The Blind Squirrel.
