Came for golf with grandsons, had a fantastic cheesesteak . Golf was lots of fun with boys and you pay right in the bar/ grill/ brewpub restaurant. Owned by same people as bowling alley. Fantastic $13 cheesesteak with fries. Grandsons chicken tenders$10 with fries. Not really a bowler but golf was fun and food good.7/12/21
Deep fried bar good, frozen seasonal vegetables. Nothing much homemade. Menus dirty. Nice staff, beer is good. Crappie good
Fantastic surprise in little Fremont! Food was fresh and hot. Homemade nacho chips were amazing. There’s no pre-made freezer food here. We will be back!
Ehh, not that good. Food was luke warm. Beer not that great.
Awesome!!! THANK YOU FOR BEING OPEN!! We support you!!!
My wife and I were hungry and excited to make the trek from Grand Rapids to see you guys, since it's been almost a year. We sat at the bar, and were asked about drinks. We ordered waters to start, then the longer we sat there, without service, we realized only 1 of the wait staff was actually wearing her mask. Everyone else was wearing it on their chins. We decided to leave because neither one of us felt comfortable with staff openly breathing over our drinks and food.
Stopped in for dinner. Ordered a French Dip. It came and on one side of the bun (refer to picture below) was not a single piece of beef. Showed my waitress Lola and she asked if I wanted to see a manager. Amber came over and said that the beef is proportionately weighed, and it is on their somewhere. I asked her, isn't that the cooks job to make an entry look inviting. Why should it be my job to rearrange the little beef that was on this sandwich? She said it is what it is and walked away. I have been patronizing this establishment since they originally opened. I was sorry to see Nancy and Monica go. This place I believe is under new management and I definitely wont be back anytime soon. In closing, I truly believe that the manager should have taken the sandwich back to the kitchen, have the cook do the rearranging and bring it back to the table telling me she took care of it. Anyway, isn't that what we pay for or is it we will cook it and you rearrange ir atmosphere?
We were craving a nice sit down lunch and a burger, and The Commons delivered. The restaurant era was CLEAN, spacious, and airy, but we opted to sit outside in a shady patio for our early lunch. Service was great, but the hamburgers were amazing - obviously made by someone who loves hamburgers. They were cooked perfectly, juicy with great cheese and the BUN - lovingly lightly toasted on both sides and amazing. The onion rings were real whole onions w/crispy breading (not limp and greasy) and the spicy curly fries were excellent. The outdoor seating was great. All in all, a great place to distance easily, get great food, and still get a little time out.
Salad was great husband like burger and beer. Service sucked had find someone to get menu
Clean, friendly service, good food
Restaurantji Recommends
If you want an good place for family this is the place they have an restaurant and an bowling alley with an par 3 golf course
Went here for lunch as a family this past week. The pretzel and cheese appetizer was delicious as always! Tried something new on the menu and it was SO GOOD! Definitely would recommend the BBQ Chicken Flatbread. Our waitress was very kind and kept a close eye on all our drinks- had a refill in front of me before I was done with the previous one. Definitely recommend!
We had a great lunch at Brew Works, everything tasted great with great service. I had them special order my flat bread, and they did it with no problem. It's one of our favorite restaurants in Fremont. The atmosphere is so cozy, warm and friendly, with friendly staff. Can't wait to get back to Fremont to try other items on their menu.
Alex our waitress was a little frazzled after driving her car into a snowy ditch, but she and the bartender were super friendly and helpful. We had a great time visiting all the way from NC. Good chili and house beers on tap.
We opened up with a couple of very distinct beers to wet our appatite. Finding something that would go with everything, we began with the Red. Hum,uhm, & ordered the quesno appetizer & soft pitzel. What love, what pairing, it was like getting married all over again. (I believe we got lucky later)
