Detoured off the highway to treat myself. The Subway closer to my home is horrible. Staff person opened door for me (I use a cane). I decided on a foot long, half tonight & half tomorrow. Put mayo on one half, mayo in a plastic container for the other so it won't get soggy overnight. Clearly marked the two sandwich halves. Ingredients look very fresh. Great experience!
Kid was rude and I’ve never had a worse experience at any restaurant. Waited for the guy to make the order for the folks in front of us, then the worker said hang on instead of acknowledging me or talking to me at all. Then, the kid asked me to do his job. I asked him “which color,” to which he replied “I don’t even care.” So that clearly shows that he’s committed to delivering the standard of food and service to which Subway holds themselves accountable.
Then, he further ignored me and changed out the meatballs at 1:15 in the morning. Explain to me why he needed to change the meatballs at 1:15 AM. Still didn’t even get an acknowledgment from him. At that point, I said screw it, and told the kid what was up, and he argued with me. He literally argued with me. I NEVER make a scene like this, but this was literally mind blowing to me. Not only did he ignore me, ask me to do his job for him, which he clearly didn’t care about, but then also prioritizing literally everything else above the customers standing directly in front of him, he argued with me.
This experience I just had at the subway in Galesburg Michigan is beyond what I can even describe. I don’t think I’ve ever had a worse experience at any restaurant. Ever. I waited for the kid to finish making the order for the customers in front of us, then he said “hold on” instead of even acknowledging me or *asking me* to wait. THEN the kid had the audacity to ask ME to hand HIM a bag of Doritos for a TO GO order HE was making for a customer that wasn’t even there in front of him. Out loud. I am completely mind blown by this experience. And then, to top it off, there’s no option whatsoever on Subway’s automated phone line to talk to anyone. You’re offered the option to leave feedback online. So here’s my feedback, Subway. Even their prompt for employees says “please review the online portal.” You’re not going to let your customers speak to you, ok, but not even your own employees get to talk to a real person?! Subway’s commitment to excellence for not only their customers, but even to their own employees, is clearly evident. And this has only been the WORST experience I’ve had at a Subway. I don’t have much to say in the positive for any of my other experiences either, to be honest. Subway - train your employees to do better. Teach customer service. Teach prioritization. Treat your employees better. Clearly, the need for the ability to make a phone call is evident, and you don’t even give your employees that option, apparently. At this point, I will not be returning to Subway. Jimmy John’s makes the food better, faster, and their employees actually provide decent customer service. This was a major embarrassment for your company.
My husband stopped and grabbed lunch on his way home from a jobsite and both of our subs were so hard it was terrible. Neither item was a toasted sandwich, I had a turkey and he had a tuna but both of our Italian herb and cheese breads were overdone and hard. Lost my appetite, I understand mistakes happen but these just taste old, not even fresh. Usually we use a different subway and have no issues.
Everyone is so friendly every time we go in the food really good
I frequent this location because of the hours. But when I went today to purchase a sandwich with my boyfriend, the woman who was working (older, blonde hair, heavy eye makeup) had a terrible attitude. She asked me what I wanted, so I told her the number on the menu and she looked at me disgusted. She took forever, making the sub to put it into the toaster and turned around and asked if that was it. My boyfriend then proceeded to place his order and she clearly had a attitude the whole time. When she went to put the toppings on my sub, I asked for lettuce, tomato, and onions, and she snidely said that there are no onions. I asked her not to cut my sub because the knives that are being used or are not clean and I have allergies. She said to me “I’ve never heard anyone not cut a foot-long sub before”. I politely told her that it’s because I have allergies and about the clean knife when she heard about that she never offered to go in the back and get one she just wrapped up the sandwich. The other gentleman that was working was trying to fulfill online orders and he heard the situation and went and got a clean knife and cut my sandwich which I was very thankful for. I’m gathering from the other reviews that that lady always has an attitude problem, and unfortunately makes the customer service at this location not great.
My online order hasn't been made correctly in forever and even when they are dead, the orders are never done in time.
phenomenal subway, thank you!
I am highly disappointed in this subway, my wife did a preorder on-line and scheduled it for a pickup for when I got off of work, and when I got there to pick up our sandwiches, they were not ready and the asst., manager had no idea what order I was talking about until I showed her proof of the order and then proceeded to give me an attitude like she was doing me a favor. I will never again go to that subway.
If you like to be ignored, this is the place to go. They were working on an order but no one else was there so probably an online order but never asked to take our order or said be right with you... nothing. So we left.

Bread rock hard
Never experienced worse customer service and i’ve worked in the industry for a long time. Coming home from my mom’s late, decided to stop by subway to get some food. Was trying to explain i wanted a footlong split in half with different things on each. The lady rolled her eyes several times, even yelled at me at one point that i was confusing her. Sighing very loud and not once did she even look at me. I apologized for being confusing, to which she just rolled her eyes again. Made me feel like such an inconvenience to her. Just appalling how you work in the service industry and have an attitude like that so blatantly in front of customers….
Every time I order my sandwich with Avocado they never add Avacado the last umpteen sandwichs I've ordered have been good but if I'm spending 3 extra dollars I want my shit
JESUS LOVES YOU ❤️ SEEK JESUS
Ordered two turkey subs, extra banana peppers, extra mustard, extra mayo, lettuce, and tomato. I got an almost dry sandwich with a total of 4 banana peppers on each sub and random onions I didn’t ask for. A literal joke
