Great people that are a part of this fishing community. Everyone we communicated with was very cool... honor system for the huge ice house and the prices will naturally inspire you to throw in a couple more bucks . It is an indoor cleaning station with a walk in ice room you take by the (provided) shovelful. I think it was $6 for an extra large cooler. We had the honor of meeting the owner, Joe Peterson, he was cleaning his own fish while we were there and is such a neat personality....
Showed up on Monday morning just after 9am to purchase whitefish boneless fillets. Awesome experience. This commercial fishery uses very sustainable methods so only specific sizes and species are harvested. I'm going to be eating more whitefish. Delicious
The Peterson Brothers et.al are great and very friendly people. Anyone who says they are not, would not be telling the truth. These guys are very conscientious fishermen who provide the best fresh whitefish products in the world. The best...hands down!
