Just passing through and chose Alpine Tavern for lunch. Enough of a twist on standard tavern fare to make the food interesting. We ordered soups, salads, sandwiches and wraps and all were delicious. Kids were happy with their mac n cheese and wide variety of choices for sides.

It took 1/2 hour to get food. the Reubens sandwich had a thin slice of meat and extra sauerkraut. The hamburger was too salty with a 1/2 portion of fries.

If you are looking for a place that has an outdoor area for kids this is great. If you want it a little quieter the inside area is better. The chicken quesadilla was great. My husband ordered perch and ended up with cod. My daughter said her choice was okay. Probably will not return.

Stopped mid-afternoon and shared the fish tacos & avocado shrimp salad. Both were excellent! Sat outside on a beautiful fall day! Reagan (our server) helped to make the experience so great!

Came in for dinner on September 5th, was passed by our waiter about a dozen times in the 15 minutes we sat waiting to even be acknowledged. Our waiter was too busy talking about his life to his co workers. When we ordered our dinner with strict instructions that my wife is allergic to lemon, which was repeated multiple times, sure enough her fish had a big slice of lemon on the top. I asked another waitress if we could have it remade, and she went to the back telling the kitchen about said allergy, our male server then went to the back, took the lemon off and lied about the kitchen remaking my wife's food. I've worked in kitchens for many years, and know it takes more than 30 seconds to cook fish. The whole time we were there, a young blonde waitress would slam into both my wife and I, as she was too busy texting on her watch. I'm very sad about this, as this has been our favorite restaurant for awhile. I hope that someone else does not have a food allergy and have this happen to them!

I went to this place and had a few drinks. They charge six dollars for a bush light and seven dollars for a shot of Canadian club. They gouged us. The appetizer was terrible. Prices were terrible.
Had the pub burger it was huge. Would definitely recommend this. Bring your appetite

We had a pizza Very disappointed, the crust was so thin it couldn't hold the toppings and it was not hot. Very messy to eat even with a fork First time we have had a bad pizza here.

We are from out of town. We sat at the bar and Joe was absolutely amazing. The chicken wings and the flight of sauces was very good. The pulled pork nachos were good but the fried pickles were absolutely AMAZING.
