2 out of 3 sandwiches were wrong on a takeout order. None of the sandwiches had veggies on them but extra mayo which we said we didn't want. I'll never go here again

We were in the area for the Labor Day Mackinaw Bridge walk. At 8:45 we walked into the local Subway where the employee rudely stated “I’m not gonna toast anything, I already shut down the oven”. She clearly wanted to leave the very second they were scheduled to close at 9:00. That being said, we happened across Firehouse a few minutes later. I reluctantly went inside and asked if we could still be served as they were also closing at 9:00. I was greeted by Mike.. he turned and looked at the clock and it was 8:57, then said “we’re still open, come on in!” My girl and I had an amazing dinner! Mike, Devin, and “grandpa” were very kind to us. They were patient because we weren’t real familiar with their menu, and they never once made us feel rushed.

The most delicious sub sandwiches I have eaten in a long time! The bread was very crusty on the outside. The meat was warm on the inside! I had the Turkey Bacon Ranch sub in the medium size.

A great Firehouse location w/ great staff. Quick to make the food. Always fresh and consistently tasty!
Trash was past full, women’s restroom was clean at first look however around the toilet was dirty, sink was dirty. When the order was being taken it was super busy while waiting in line I saw what was either the manager or shift lead with glasses on and a hat touch his glasses with his gloved hands that he was using to make the sandwiches and never change his gloves before or after. The girl taking orders seemed annoyed to be there. All of the tables were dirty and so was the floor. Food tasted great, hope that we do not get food poisoning due to improper food handling and poor sanitization. Wish that I would have taken pictures. When we were eating it slowed down and no fresh orders were taken employees didn’t move to clean anything or take out trash they all went into the back and no employee was up front.

Great quality food Love that they support all of our army fire and police The restrooms are clean well kept up. Very nice people at the counter. And tables are well maintained and wiped off. I would tell anybody to come eat themselves lots of meat cheese and lots condiments to choose from . There are subs are twice the size of Subway's sub.
