The food was very good And what a great view. The best part of the night was.Gwenda Made it so much fun. Always made sure drinks were full and that the food was perfect. We will be asking for her every time. Definition of a perfect waitress.

I’m extremely disappointed with our experience. My 15-year-old son paid for his own meal and left a tip based on what he could afford. Instead of appreciating his effort, the staff told him it “wasn’t enough.” I find it completely inappropriate to pressure or shame a teenager about tipping

I recently traveled to visit family (I was born and raised here and had yet to experience this restaurant)
I called ahead the lady did not take my name only my number and could not give us an estimated time. She only replied that she would give us a “call” and that we were on a “waiting list” after time had gone by we all decided to walk in. The hostess had no idea about a “waiting list” and could not even provide us with an estimated time that we would wait. Mind you there is an abundance of seating available, we asked the hostess to sit at the bar while we wait. We thought a drink would be nice b4 we embarked on the dining experience. We all waited there for a 10 minutes with no service even to receive a drink. The bartender still had dirty glasses and silverware in each seat that was open at the bar. It was dirty and terrible service. We decided to leave and I would NEVER come back to this place again.

I’m not really a person who likes leaving reviews that I don’t feel are 5 stars but this left an impression. I’m visiting from out of state. Visually very appealing and a gorgeous place. Went on a Friday evening. Showed up with a party of 4. Walked in. Even though there was a decent amount of seating available the hostess had no idea how long it would be to get seated. She left to speak with someone else and came back, told us approximately 20 minutes which ok no big deal even though there was ample seating. We asked to sit at the bar while we waited. There’s only maybe 4-6 people at the bar. The hostess tells us that’s fine. As soon as we sit down the bartender glares at us. Walks away, goes to the hostess to ask about our group. It’s unknown what was said as they stared in our direction. Then the bartender just walked off. After which our group just felt our business was not wanted there. So we left.
Would have been great to dine here...
In town from Detroit area, and despite the website and Google post saying you're open... Nope. Deader than a doorbell here. 10/17/2024
This was my 1st time visit on my 38th wedding anniversary and was closed. Should have been open, people where outside waiting to come in. Note on the door with a phone # and no answer. Drove 30 miles just to try them out.

Took a long time to get drinks and to even place an order. Then when it was time for bill the waitress lost our orders to where she refused to come back out and someone else comes out to ask what we had. Took 45 min for us to pay our bill.

Despite the web site saying they were open for lunch, they were not, so we wasted our time. This seemed to be a pattern in this area as it wasn't the first time we were caught out by false web site information. As tourists this is very irritating!
PS. In reply to owner's post, the time was 12:00 Wednesday 28th August. The grill was closed, as verified by a member of staff in the reception area who tried to direct us to some catering facility in the golf club instead. We left.

Our first time here and our last. Menu contained delicious-sounding choices. We were looking forward to the meatballs. Husband cut into them and all three were uncooked. Not just a little, each meatball was browned on the outside but completely raw on the inside. Our server was great and friendly. There was another woman, maybe a manager, who was also very friendly. Other than the beautiful views of the ski mountain and the friendly staff, there isn’t much worth stopping for here.
Edited to add: We at dinner on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. The time on our bill is 7:34pm. Our server was Claire. She was wonderful and thankfully removed the charge for the meatballs from our bill.
Parking: The parking lot is a good distance from the restaurant. Impossible to drop off anyone at the door. This is challenging for anyone with limited mobility.
