Would not give any stars on service or food if possible. Ordered a smoothie with vitamins and the guy Bradley blended my drink with the foil wrappers. Did not find out until I left when I took a sip. This could have caused major choking issues (especially in elderly or younger) I am glad I was able to get some up. Called them to let them know. They said that it was the vitamins wrapper it got blended. There answer (several hours later, when out of work was just to replace the one I had bought) after on phone they said they would compensate me. How is compensating me the drink I just paid for?? I would like an incident report since I just had metal shavings in my throat, esophagus and stomach.

Great smoothies and great food! Love the tropical and friendly atmosphere! I also love that they are a VETERAN OWNED BUSINESS! So yes, they offer military discounts! This is our go to stop, every time we are in town.

I came in on a Saturday early afternoon. There were only two workers and the place was busy. Waited probably 20-25 minutes for the smoothie and sandwich I ordered. And the sandwich I ordered was incorrect ? not a fan of the one in Gaylord, Michigan.

I never get my side with my order and finally after the 4th mishap I called to notify management and her only rebuttal was "when you pick up the order it's your responsibility to assure its all together" followed by "Sorry, there simply nothing I can do" .... wrong !TSC could've offered to complete the order upon return or something but no effort was made to reach common ground nor did they even own the fact they mess up and its habitual !!!!Very let down with poor management responses and very immature service.

Service is horrible, all the teens who work here are bullies and racist including the manager. People like this have no place in customer service and should not be allowed to work with public if they can not tolerate other race. I will never go nor recommend any of my friends and family to go there either.

Went in there yesterday craving a smoothie, drove from Roscommon just for that!! I went into no customer's and three workers, one looked at me and said be with you in a minute!! Continue to wait next thing you know three young gentlemen walk in, and what do you know they were waited on immediately!! I was just left standing there in shock!! So ended up leaving without my smoothie!!!! So thank you to those three employees for the great customer service!! Definitely do NOT Recommend This place!!

I ordered 2 smoothies online, for curbside pick up. Arrived at your restaurant early, and waited 10 minutes past the time the e mail said it would be ready. I sat and watched as others went in and out receiving their orders in a timely manner. We decided to go in and get oursx, and the lady behind the counter asked if I had an online order, and my name. She told me my order was almost ready, as we stood another 15 minutes waiting for our order. She finally came over, asked my name again, and then informed me they were sitting right there ready the whole time we were waiting. I understand that it may be hard to run outside every so often, and keep the store running smoothly. I didn't mind at all going in the store to pick up my order, but the service once i was i side was very frustrating. I do not mind waiting for items when a place is busy, but to have it sitting there ready, and not be told is a little to much. On the other hand your store was clean, and has a very nice feel.

I went to the Tropical Smoothie Cafe location in Gaylord, MI on Friday, October 21, 2022. I placed an order for pick up via the app and went in to pick up the order as scheduled. I had the misfortune of having placed my order after approximately 20 kids and their parents/chaperones had placed theirs. My food was ready about 5 minutes after the scheduled pick up time. My smoothies were 15 minutes late. Normally this would annoy me a bit, but I had a great employee interaction. I sat at the counter and watched a young man make smoothie after smoothie. He was making them 3-4 at a time, moving as quickly and efficiently as possible. He alternated between preparing drinks, cleaning equipment, and handing drinks to customers. I was amazed at how competently he was doing the job. He was pleasant with each customer interaction. My order finally came up. He made my smoothies and placed them in the to go box. As I reached for them, he genuinely apologized for how long I had waited. He was working under pressure, busting his butt, and still took the time to provide a great customer experience. He turned annoying delay into a great experience. The smoothies were good, too.
