Was very disappointed in the quality of food, especially being served on all disposable plastic.

Overpriced, under cooked, and bland. I went here with some friends after a beautiful paddle on the Crystal River. I got the White Fish sandwhich which was bland and cold. Not to mention they only had left out Kraft tartar sauce that was cooking in the sun. What really gets this place a one star is my friend got $28 Fresh Lake Perch that was full of bones. One of the bones is still currently lodged on her throat. Boonedocks will you cover her ER bill? I will never again waste my time or money here again.

Minus the guy next to us to chat with our experience here was not great. We ordered some beers and my fiancé ordered wings to start and then we were handed a bill. And we weren’t done!
The wings came out the first time and were still cold. They were sent back and a second plate came out and they were still COLD!! The bartender acted like we weren’t telling the truth and said “they just came out of the frier!”, as they were cold to the touch…
We ended up cancelling the order for those and ended up ordering something else, only because there was a wait at other restaurants and we had already waited there for about 30 minutes at that point.
My sandwich was served with a bag of chips, which I felt was just lazy. Open the bag and dump the chips out at least, maybe?
Overall just not a pleasant experience and we won’t be back or refer anyone here to eat.

It’s fine. We’ve been here for years and it’s fine. It’s the best place to sit and have a meal and drink until the bartenders say they won’t turn on the game and turn on NASCAR because they don’t want people sitting at the bar. Or when they call last call at 8:30pm with a bar full of people. The food is overpriced and fine. The best bartender left to go somewhere else too so conversations are lacking. I’d go somewhere else or bring your iPad to enjoy the games.

We asked to sit in the bar area outside to watch the football game. Before we got our food they turned on Nascar and told everyone if they wanted to watch the game they had to go inside. When we said something to the manager he was rude and unprofessional and made a nasty comment and walked away. We should have been told the game wasnt going to be televised outside since we specifically asked for the bar area to watch it and told the hostess that because she was going to sit us somewhere else. When we tried to go inside the hostess told us there were no more seats to see the game. All around bad experience. For being in the customer service industry they certainly dont know what that means.

The atmosphere and service was great and very prompt.

Unfortunately, the food itself left a lot to be desired. I got the Whitefish sandwich and while the fish was fine, the whole sandwich was something I could have thrown together in 3 minutes at home (and I am NOT a great cook). Pretty bland overall.

3 stars because my cocktail was good and the bar, while I did not sit at it, looks like an amazing vibe.

This is definitely a place to come for drinks first.

Depending on your server your service can be fair to excellent. The food is not scratch cooking. The seasonal fresh whitefish was undercooked on two different visits this summer But the environment is upbeat and a good choice for families. Owners are always present which helps make their place successful.

This place has a welcoming atmosphere and the food is great however the service was absolutely awful. Upon our arrival, we requested for outdoor seating and the hostess was told she wasn’t allowed to seat us where we requested to sit. This establishment did not have adequate staffing for it being the last weekend of the summer. Our server was more concerned with tending to her other tables instead of the party of 8 we came in with. No where is it posted at this establishment that

1) for parties as large as ours gratuity is added. Honestly it screwed our waitress because she would have gotten more than that.
2) a “service charge” is added to every bill.

Also, the fact that our server had the audacity to look at my friend and say “I’m a mom I heard you I just didn’t respond” when all my friend was trying to do was order a beverage since this establishment only has well water.

They were moderately busy when we got there so we asked to sit at the bar. They said if seats are available we can sit down otherwise we can order at the counter and sit at cocktail tables out on the deck. We got in line at the counter. When it was our turn next for drinks, the first two seats next to the ordering counter opened up so we sat down. There were two bartenders working and they served the next four groups of people at the counter that were behind us before they even checked on us. We asked for a drink menu and our bartender gave us one and disappeared for another 15 minutes. We asked for a sample of their boondock squeeze lemon ale and mentioned right away that we would like a pitcher if we like it. They gave us small sample glasses then didnt come back and check on us again for another 10 minutes. We got the pitcher and upon finishing it, asked to cash out. The bartender took my card and our tab and walked away. We then watched that same bartender cash out at least 5 other groups without bringing our card back. Eventually we got his attention and he asked if we needed anything, forgetting that we already gave him our card and asked to cash out, and were just waiting to get the card back. When we mentioned that he took our card to close our tab and never came back he got frantic and both bartenders started moving everything on the bar to look for my card. They probably spent 15 minutes looking for my card while I started the process of locking it on my phone assuming he gave it to another patron instead of us, and it would be considered stolen. Eventually, another patron noticed it was set down with our receipts to at the walk up counter so anyone else that may have came up to get a drink could have walked away or charged their items to my card.

The bartender barely checked on us and served multiple people while we got overlooked for extended periods of time, then negiligently put my credit card in a position where it could have easily been stolen. We weren't even difficult customers, we got a single pitcher of beer. Probably wont come back here again.

What a delight it was to sit outside on the patio and have a filling lunch. I was amazed at the number of employees who were working on a weekday. Because of that, the service was prompt and attentive.
