This is not a micronation. It is a restaurant with a store. They would not sign my passport but the grilled cheese is really good.

I'm a local who has been bringing my guests to Glen Arbor and Cherry Republic for years. Last weekend, I brought my family down for lunch at the Public House. It was busy, but we were fine with a bit of a wait. The hostess took our number to text when table was ready and suggested we go shop in the mean time. We did. 15 minutes later, with our purchases, we headed back to the restaurant to wait. We entered and stood inside the door/entry area, as people do when waiting for tables at restaurants. The hostess snapped at us to get out of the entry and find somewhere else to wait, as we were not welcome to wait inside. We weren't blocking the door or interfering with their ability to serve others. That's fine if you don't want people waiting there, but then provide a better place for them. When our shopping is done (putting money in your coffers), customers should be accommodated comfortably and not embarrassed by the staff as if we were breaking the law. No need to be so rude about it. We left and went to down to Art's instead. A much tinier space with virtually nowhere to stand. They greeted us with a 'Hi! We'll get you a table soon. Feel free to wait where you're comfortable'. Exact words. That should have been the spirit in which your staff spoke to us.

Great food and service. The Parmesan crusted grilled cheese is very good. The pretzel plate was very good as well. I wish they had four pretzels instead of three, but they are tasty. The cheese sauce I could eat a bowl of....

An amazing space in the middle of the loveliest cute village. Food, home made ice cream, souvenirs...I would love to visit again!

What started out as a one star review was made much better by Bella. We waited close to 30 minutes to order our food. We were not in Bella’s section, however she noticed what was happening and made a horrid start a positive one. Food is always stellar here and that didn’t change. Thanks to Bella for taking great care of us. I hope management recognizes those that go above and beyond

Real nice hidden spot. Only restaurant cherry republic has going. Great friendly server. Grilled cheese was absolutely the best ever. Very nice salads.

The pulled pork was so very delicious. The drink, the loaded lug, was so very very good as well. I highly recommend this place!!

Horrible food for the price and no service at all. McDonald's is much better! Dry overcooked and overpriced burgers. Yuck!

The Smoked Whitefish Dip and Whitefish Chowder were both a surprise and delicious.

Had cherry chicken salad on what supposed to be a croissant, It wasn’t a croissant some kind of roll. The amount of chicken salad probably amounted to a tablespoon, tomato and greens took up the rest. Our visit was on Saturday the 20th at 4 PM total chaos. I’ve always wanted to eat here but I don’t think I’ll come back it’s not worth the money.

Visited on a weekend and they were too busy. Food came wrong. Couldn't even get into the restroom to wash hands. Very popular but not worth the hassle.

Food was very mid, very bland. Overpriced.
