*The* most delicious pizza I've had in Michigan. The cheese was cartoon-levels of stretchy and tasted like saganaki. Absolutely fantastic. Very friendly staff and fast service (we came in the off season).

This establishment has great cherry inspired food and drinks. Keep in mind that to view the menu, order food, and close your tab, you must scan a QR code on the tables. The staff and our sever provided great customer service and were very friendly. There is lots of Seatting inside and out. Both with a great family-friendly layed back atmosphere. You can buy more Cherry Public House merchandise and exclusive food and drink items in the attached gift shop. There is even an ice cream booth on the back patio that sells their signature flavors. Overall, my group and I really enjoyed our visit and we think you will too!Kid-friendliness: Has an ice cream booth thatThe kids will love!

I really enjoyed the space. The back patio was large, it has space for kids and dogs to run around, games to play, and a stage that I assume has live music. All of this under the shade of towering trees, this would have been the perfect stop for a warm summer day. There was also a large and eclectically decorated indoor dining space for those less-than-idyllic days. The food was okay. I enjoyed my burger and the cherry porter was good, but very sweet with a lot of cherry flavor. Something I would consider a dessert beer and one I wouldn't want to order every day. The cherry coffee was way too heavy on the cherry which was a bit of a turn off.Service had some hiccups but ended up working okay. The back patio operates on a contract-less system. So you order and pay on your phone and one of the waitstaff drops off your food. We had ordered a side of beer cheese fries that didn't get delivered. The waitress begrudgingly brought us an order after we asked about it, thinking we were lying even though it could be seen on my order receipt. So that was off-putting, but worked out in the end.

It was okay, overpriced (but given the Cherry Republic retail store prices that shouldn't be a surprise). The food was average, the burger and bag of chips was certainly not worth $16.I found it odd that several staff members were wearing gloves when they didn't need to- the person who took our order for example (were they also handling food without washing their hands and using new gloves?? Because that's what it looked like/seemed like). After our food was brought out to us nobody stopped back at our table to check on our meal, refill drinks, or bring the check. Pretty sure we were forgotten about. I won't be back to the restaurant, it's way overrated.

I was blown away by the complete and utter disregard for customer service, common decency, and lack of respect by a restaurant. I'll set the scene for you.We showed up midday on a Sunday, and the inside seating was full. There were less than 15 tables, so I get it. It was very chilly, so indoor seating was a necessity. They do not have outdoor warmers, which to me, is completely strange in upper MI. Even the lowest end of bars will have atleast SOME kind of heater/warmer available, but I digress. We show up and it's hopping, the poor bartenders are the only ones greeting customers. We ask the lovely lady at the bar for indoor seating. She tells us there isn't any, but it's self-seat and order from the table. States we are welcome to wait outside for when a table opens up and then we can move inside. Okay, great.I have my younger niece and nephew with me, so we go sit outside, decide and order our food, and sit patiently, waiting for a table to open up. When it does, we move inside, as we were instructed that it would be okay to do. We get comfortable and start warming up, and then were approached by a different woman, who had a extremely abrasive, unnecessary tone. She spoke SO loudly at us (the restaurant was not loud, mind you), that my niece's eyes started watering to cry. She told us there was a wait list for indoor seating, and we needed to move, right now. We calmly and quietly told her that we had asked the lady at the bar and she had stated it was open seating and we were approved to move inside (because we had let that server know we were moving tables so that our order would still come to us, and again, she said great! I'll update it in our system for you.) and she continued to practically yell. Now, I don't know if she (I assume she was the manager, as I only saw her to yell at us and then speak to people on the phone, I unfortunately didn't catch her name) just doesn't understand the volume and tone of her own voice, or if she woke up choosing to be this way, but it was COMPLETELY unnecessary. Listen, I get having a full house, I've worked customer service jobs, I get things happen. We are understanding people! But when we were approached in such a way that made my kid cry? Absolutely not. Everyone in the restaurant turned to look, and even people OUTSIDE (doors shut) on the patio stopped and turned around because that's how loud she was being. She left to "confirm we were on the wait list" (no wait list was EVER mentioned to us, only that it was open seating) and when she came back she continued shouting to get us to move. I got up before she could finish her tirade and took the kids outside to avoid them being embarrassed or feeling harassed and left my husband to it. The kids were so miserable outside in the cold (we had already waited 40 minutes on our food) that my husband went back inside to ask about the wait time for our meals and was told it would be another hour or more before the food came out. Exasperated and beyond livid, we demanded a refund for our meals, and the lady who had shouted at us initially refused to refund the money, but when my husband raised his voice as she did to him, she quickly refunded it and we paid for the two beers we were served and left. All in all, it was an absolutely dismal experience. We frequent the traverse city area numerous times a year and I can attest to the fact that there are SO MANY better, friendlier, more WORTH IT breweries out there than this one. The awful parking, lack of preparedness for the winter, 1.5 hours for food (and it was just a couple of sandwiches and fries at that!) and unprofessional manager makes this place a joke.Parking: Very small choice for parking, be prepared to walk a good distance if you're going for dinner time.

I absolutely love this place!!! The burger was absolutely fantastic. It came with a cherry coleslaw that was delicious! We also ordered a basket of fries and they were so good! This yummy seasoning on them that makes them speical! They have done a little redesign in the last couple of years and I love the new layout. Although I do miss the self-service drink station, the food is still awesome. It is on the pricier side but it is Glen Arbor. after all. The staff is always friendly and the food is timely. Don't sleep on dessert! I forgot to take a picture of the pie, but the cherry pie was fantastic, I think we had the cherry berry pie (or maybe it was plain cherry!) with cherry ice cream! I didn't have a cider this visit but I do love them!

Wonderful service on a busy afternoon! We sat at the bar and enjoyed the Cherry Bomb Hard Seltzer and Hoppy Boppy Pale Ale along with the Soft pretzels with stone ground mustard and beer cheese. Had to buy a cherry pie on the way out. Great place!

Cherries are king here, in the best possible way. We had the cherry charcuterie and cherry beer, both quality, and the burger- no cherries involved- was really delicious. For dessert, we sampled the cherry ice cream, which was icy but had good flavor. Highlight of all the cherry items was the pie- sooooo good! We bought a whole one. Service was efficient and super friendly, the front patio was a lovely place to dine, and the music was great, too. All and all, the perfect end to a great day of hiking in Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Loved the relaxed atmosphere (dog friendly was a big plus), and top-notch service. Cherry chicken salad was excellent. Loved the cole slaw with kale. And a take home cherry pie was quite good, although next time I will try the crumb topping.
