Extremely friendly and helpful staff who made suggestions without ever being pushy and were happy to offer samples of anything when asked. A great experience on our way out of town ?
Great store, delicious samples, and excellent customer service!
? Soooo good! Seasoned fries were delicious and the pizza was to die for. Great ambience and servers are very nice ?
WOOOOWWW! Staff is very unpleasant. We come here throughout the year andalways an uncomfortable, awkward feeling. Didnt say hello. No matter how much we spend the elderly ladies are very rude and uncomfortable. My children are followed around the store not friendly infact come off irritated a bit. Plus asmall an 8oz bag of cherry sourballs isnow $20... one star cause the candy isgood.
Deceptive Reviews on WebsiteI left a three star review on their website a few months ago for the “Cherries on Fire Salsa” due to the extremely high sugar content. They still have not posted my review, only showing 34 x 5 star reviews. I followed up with their online help two weeks ago and asked why my review was not posted and she said she would follow up….i still have not heard back.I am so disappointed by this deceptive method to only accept and post 5 star reviews and leave out lesser reviews- makes it hard to know what products people enjoy best. I have spent hundreds of dollars/year here the last 4 years, but am going to have to find a new Cherry product supplier. I can’t support a company who treats customers like this.
My family used to own a cherry farm in Empire, MI and we distributed the cherries to Triple D. Triple D then would distribute the cherries to Cherry Republic.Cherry Republic will always be innovating new products. When I was a boy, there a few choices from my perspective. Now I see hundreds of products made by Michigan cherries.Great location to visit and understand more about the Cherry Capital of the World. ??
Favorite store for Cherry ? Republic products. All things Cherry. You name it. You'll want to try all the sample stands . Chocolate covered ?, Cherry salsa, Cherry BBQ, and more. Cherry wine. Cherry ? ? which I purchased this time. It was absolutely scrumptious. Survived the drive home too. Easy to find. Hours for the restaurant and also the wine store with sampling has limited hours. You'll want to watch your schedule if you want to sample ? wine. Enjoy. Yummy ? cherry products.
We had burger with a bacon cherry marmalade that was something special. Overall pleasant experience and our old pup was able to join us in the outdoor seating area.
Stopped in here after some rock hunting.Got some ice cream to go. All the flavors where incredible and delicious. The ice cream is more on the icee side than creamy, but still quality!
Atmosphere is fun for whole family! Samples are great to try and we LOVE everything we have bought here. Cafe has delicious food too!

Cool place to visit while in Glen Arbor, friendly staff, great food, even played a game or two of cornhole.
If you want bad service, janky burgers and horrible drinks (their water has the worst taste ever.. rotten eggs, which made the drinks taste awful) this is the place for you! Terrible! Just for context, we had the Cherry Marmalade Burger, Pulled Pork Sandwich and the Parmesan crusted grilled cheese. The grilled cheese had a fig jam cook in the sandwich. My wife said this was absolutely awful! We will not be returning!
We loved this little place! Food was great, but service and atmosphere were even greater. The staff was friendly and attentive. We were celebrating our anniversary there, and they gave us a whole cherry pie! There is live music on some days. Neat gift shop on the grounds. Witty signage, rustic setting. You don't want to miss this place if you are in Glen Arbor or Sleeping Bear areas.
Great place to visit when in Glen Arbor. They have lots of great cherry products. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because it seems that a lot of their products are not made in Michigan and do not even use Michigan cherries. We used to always buy the sour cherry candy but it is now made in the Netherlands and does not contain Michigan Cherries. This place comes accross as a place that is in Michigan Cherry country and supports local farms but the truth says otherwise. Check the label for Michigan made products, most of what they sell does not use Michigan Cherries. I feel misled.
Lured in by two young musicians Blake and Joe, we found a table in the beer garden. I listened as these two sang about young love and summers gone by to their childhood friends playing cards at a table in front of them. They are seniors in college and about to return. In between songs they would talk about spending summers here. You could tell by the occasional blank stare on their friends faces that it was setting in that this time in their lives was ending.Everyone there were either friends or family. If a table needed cleared one of the summer breakers would do it with a smile. As for the food it was pleasantly on point. The Serrano Burger had just enough spice to keep you curious. I upgraded to the seasoned fries but the family taxed them hard. The few I got were good. All that said, the food could have been trash but ambience would have me coming back. There are only a few times I’ve been in a place where everyone is smack dab in the middle of a core memory.
