I ordered the bread with herb cheese and the Tomato sandwich. Both sandwiches had bread that was hard as a rock with a very scant bit of cheese and the tomato was so thin I could not hardly see it. This lunch was high priced so my expectation was a much higher quality. VERY DISAPPOINTING!
What an absolutely charming, lovely and perfect place. We loved The Mill inn and restaurant. The design is impeccable. The food is impeccable. The folks very friendly. The setting was so impressive with the clear river water and woods. Top notch all the way around.
We had a wonderful dinner at Supper. Everything was incredibly flavorful, creatively prepared, and local. Our waiter, Ian, was perfectly attentive and knowledgeable. We will be back!
I would (and have!) recommend this stay to all my closest friends. The peaceful Northern welcome makes for the perfect get away and respite. Cory and the staff go out of their way to make your stay memorable. The food, coffee, bedding, views are all 5 star. Such a special destination. Will be back!
Very quaint! It was nice to have the Mill coffee shop right next to us, to grab a sandwich to eat for lunch and to be right on Crystal River. Only recommendation would be to add a fire pit and firewood!
Supper/Dinner: overpriced, pretentious and very, very limited menu.
We had the most delicious meal here back in July. The green beans with leek ash were especially delicious!
Nice little spot to get a coffee, breakfast sandwich, or baked good. We went on a Saturday morning and they were very busy due to it being labor day weekend. Waited almost an hour to order and get our food and drink. A little pricey too, but I guess you're paying for the view.
We stopped here for coffee, the space was beautiful and cozy! There’s old mill equipment around and a great view of the nearby river! Also, the coffee was delicious and they had amazing cream puffs pastries!
The food here was extremely overpriced. We got 2 sandwiches, and the bread was stale, hard as a rock, and the lettuce was wilted and old. The total came to over $50 with 2 sandwiches and a glass of house wine. On top of that, the tip screen started out at 20% up to 30%, for a service that you stand at the counter to order.
The property, that is the main point of eating here, is not maintained. You would think with the prices of the rooms, sitting at a $700-$500 night, the property could afford maintenance. Cigarette butts left outside, weeds by the patio and trees down all over the river right next to where you are supposed to enjoy the view.
I will not be returning.

Delicious place for a casual bite or a drink. I recommend the matcha or the chai and their salads. Gorgeous inside and out at this restored old mill. Visit their other property Millie’s closer to town for delicious pizza and ice cream. (Millie’s has dairy free, fruity choices too.)
The restuarant is over rated and definitely over priced. Atmosphere was nice, service was good, food was just ok. Be forewarned.
Omg! Everything and more. Such an experience at every turn. From the beautiful accommodations of which I didn’t miss a thing! The parachute towels, the amazing bed, the most comfortable duvet, the shower, the retro kitchen, the beautiful pieces that are laced in the room to purchase, the cafe, i can go on and on. We will be making this trip a tradition. Delightful. Thank you Mill. Thank you Cory, and amazing staff! I see all of you. ✨
What a quaint place to stop for lunch. Will definitely be back.
We went to dinner here for our anniversary. The fish starter with jalapeno and hibiscus was stunning, both in flavor and presentation! The server encouraged us to order a second side with the steak, and the fancy hash brown was a great life choice. We'll think about that hash brown forever! The steak was good, the radishes could have been cooked more. For dessert we had the strawberry hibiscus sorbet, and the little pops of flavor were fun. It wa great experience, with creative but approachable food!
I do wish they would've acknowledged our anniversary and made it feel more like a special occasion than a random Wednesday night. My other negative, it was storming when we left in the dark, we were practically parked over in the road, and I ended up stepping in huge holes and mud puddles because the parking lot has zero lights!
