Food & drinks: We didn't stay at The Mill, but I would absolutely love to! However, we did come for the Cafe and food which was nothing short of fantastic. The Mill Cafe not only serves the public carefully with their consciously selected ingredients from local communities, but they do an excellent job of providing unique and artfully created dishes that are both incredibly comforting and delicious. The place was incredibly relaxing and clean, too. Coffee, pastries and sandwiches all 10/10.

We had a fantastic stay at The Mill! We were warmly welcomed, and our room was perfect, with a comfortable bed, roomy bathroom, and great amenities. (Loved the room decor details that harkened back to the old mill's former usage.) Maybe the best part of The Mill is the attached cafe and lodge-like lounge; we really enjoyed the cocktails, coffees, pastries and brunch in this cozy, warm space.

So glad to have this new addition to the Glen Arbor business community. The staff is friendly and helpful, even in the summer when swamped with visitors, and the food is top notch. The molasses cookies are to die for and the blueberry jam that comes with the Toast & Jam breakfast is literally spreading blueberries on your toast. We loved sitting on the porch watching the fish in the river during the summer and now are loving the warm and cozy great room during the winter. Wonderful place to sit and chat, work, or read with a great latte.

The Mill House is a worthy addition to the best of Up North: an intimate inn run by people who care about you and the legacy of Glen Arbor. The quiet luxury of the home-like rooms wrap forward-thinking design in vintage charm.

We had an amazing stay at The Mill! We enjoyed the walks over to the cafe in the morning and the charming home that fit our extended family gathering of 8. It was the perfect winter getaway. The hosts were able to refer us to some nearby hikes and great options for intimate dining! Our meals at the Mill were also delicious! The cafe miels are a must and you really can't go wrong with any of their food its all so good for the soul. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Coffee is always delicious. When we visit Glen Arbor we go every single morning they are open. Everyone must try their hand pies they are awesome. We tried their Brunch for the first time and it was amazing. If you’re looking for cheap coffee this is not the place but it is worth it. What a great addition to the area. We can’t wait for the restaurant to open.

My husband and I had the most amazing stay at The Mill after Christmas! We stayed in the Emmer, which was absolutely stunning and spacious. We loved waking up and walking just a few steps to get wonderful pastries and coffee at the gorgeous cafe. The location, atmosphere, and hospitality are incredible! Everyone who works here is a gem. We can't wait to stay again, everything about The Mill is perfection.

What they sell on social media is a direct contrast with what you actually experience at The Mill. Terrible atmosphere. Entitled, and obnoxious middled aged owners occupying half the space, letting their kids run around like its chuck e cheese, with 80s rock turned up to 11, and downright terrible food. The silver lining? If you can look beyond all the chaos/ the blatant disrespect for their guests, then the building sure does look beautiful.Food & drinks: The food is an obvious afterthought. DisgustingNoteworthy details: Beautiful architecture and design. Cant credit the owners too much with this one though, as the building remains largely unchanged

My wife & I needed a little weekend getaway & The Mill was perfect! We were greeted by Corey upon our arrival. He met us in the parking lot, told us the ins & outs of the place & even helped with our bags. Top notch service for sure. The room was comfortable, quiet & relaxing. The bed, sheets & linens were Amazing. Really enjoyed the books in the room. Learning about the surrounding area & history puts you back in time a bit.The Mill itself had great coffee, pastries & a vibe to match. No detail is overlooked. We’ll definitely be back. This will be a Glen Arbor establishment for years & years to come.Rooms: Exceptionally clean. Well decorated. Comfortable. Cozy.

Hard to describe - the coziest, hip, restored mill on a beautiful river. Lots of room to find a spot to enjoy conversation. Happy staff with a curated menu that offers wonderfully prepared drinks and food.
