Western Avenue Grill Reviews
8 of us for dinner tonight, all of our mashed potatoes were cold and green beans under-cooked. Waitress was inexperienced but good. Big problem when bill arrived as they would not split the total between 4 credit cards! Never had a restaurant refuse to do this for us, never!! To be clear we didn’t ask for separate bills. We wanted to split the $614.00 bill equally among our 4 credit cards and they refused. We will never go back!
Have been coming since 2018 but it’s no longer good. Service and food quality do not match the price. Got the “walleye” bites it was not walleye. Sat most of our meal with empty glasses and there was only 2 tables seated so they were not busy.

Western Avenue Grill is a restaurant where guests can enjoy a memorable dining experience with great customer service. The staff is attentive and kind, making visitors feel welcome and well taken care of. They offer a variety of delicious meals, including the best ribeye, asparagus, Whitefish, red mashed potatoes, and parmesan crusted whitefish. The menu also features a nice selection of wines, such as a dry California wine. The food has improved greatly, with dishes like the walleye basket and whitefish sandwich receiving praise. Fries are very good, and service is quick, especially at outdoor tables. The restaurant’s architecture is notable, with supports made of white birch trees, adding to its cool atmosphere. Customers recommend trying the whitefish pate and fish entrees, as the food is fresh and delicious, with the smoked fish dip being a particular highlight. While prices can be a bit high, the quality of food and service makes it worth the trip. Whether for a spontaneous visit or a planned outing, Western Avenue Grill is a recommended spot for a satisfying meal.
