This location is especially good because of the people. The time they take to talk to you as busy as they are is so nice. The place has its regulars and you could tell. Very comforting. It can get crazy busy too. They’re like a machine working. Like artwork. When I have decided to eat my meal there before and looked up to see them working, I was very impressed with their efficiency and effectiveness. Good bagels. Great people.

Absolutely terrible experience at the Grand Blanc Mi store. This store is always super disorganized and dirty, but today was the last straw. We called ahead to place an order to arrive to a super long line. No biggie. We get to the front of the line and find out they never even took down our order. We sat in there for well over 30 minutes just to find out they didn’t take our order again! They didn’t want to bother to tell us they didn’t have the bagels so they must have thought us sitting there wasting our time was better. And they took our free punch card and never gave it back and only refunded me for the one bagel. This place is an absolute joke with confused customers walking around the inside at all times. The Fenton location is run way better and is much more cleanly. We will never be back and hopefully the owner decided to step in and actually run the place instead of leaving it to a bunch of high schoolers on a Sunday morning.

Today, at 10 minutes before closing we were told we COULD NOT purchase 2 muffins to go in the case because, what they had was for tomorrow. Seriously, lock your darn door if your done!!Who is setting THAT policy?Previous post:Never a hello, thanks for coming, no smiles and this morning burned bagels (like they didn't notice when they put cream cheese on them) Been that way since they opened!

Unfortunately since the store manager Kathy left the store has been going downhill slowly. Today was the pinnacle. It was 10am and they were out of more than half of the bagel options, all of the most popular options, without any in the oven. When I asked when more would be ready I was told they wouldn’t be making any more for at least 30-40 minutes. This never happened when Kathy was managing the store. The coffee station was in desperate need of refilling. The staff is less friendly now as well, I don’t understand what has happened. Please know that we have been going to this store for more than 10 years. What is sad is that we will be looking for another breakfast spot.

My first visit to Big Apple Bagels was disappointing and will unfortunately be my last visit as well. The ambiance felt more aligned with a social spot for teenagers rather than a professional bagel establishment. The service was notably lacking, staffed by young individuals who seemed unfamiliar with basic customer service principles. The absence of visible management or oversight contributed to a disorganized atmosphere. One individual, presumably an employee, was even wearing her coat, and was more engaged in personal conversations than in serving customers. My intention to enjoy a new lunch experience (turkey club with avacado) was quickly turned into disbelief when I opened up the paper to find an avocado MESS with not even an entire slice of turkey! I had to take it home as it was far too messy to eat on-site. This, combined with the surprisingly depleted bagel selection by 11am, did not justify the expenditure of over $20 for two incredibly unsatisfactory sandwiches, and horrible customer service. Management really needs to start reading these reviews... unless of course, one the girls who was there today, IS a manager... in that case, they will all go unheard and what we experienced today is acceptable to them. And on that note, we will not be back.

I’ve been coming here for years, and NOW the service is absolutely horrible. no line, walked in, and the blonde girl with brown leggings at the register was preparing something and didn’t acknowledge us at all while standing in front of us for atleast 2 minutes. went to the back and came back up front then said “hi”. Also our food was $7 more than usual? And I told her the price wasn’t right she didn’t try anything to help, and asked if we wanted a receipt so I said yes to check out what happened, the receipt just says the total of the whole order not individual orders.

Bagels are good but the service is absolutely the worst and has been for quite some time. Nothing but a bunch of young ENTITLED girls more interested in their friends stopping by then paying attention to the orders being taken. And when you call them on it they turn into witches.

My mom and I walked in around 1:30 (shop closes at 2) just to get a quick coffee and a bagel. Two young girls were working, and we were greeted by one rolling her eyes, sighing, and stating “See, I told you we should have locked the door.” There were barely any bagels to choose from (which I had kind of expected coming in later in the day) except there seemed to be tons of them already bagged up for the night that I assume would have otherwise been fine to purchase. The girl who took our order then ended up forgetting about our lattes, as they were too preoccupied with closing the store (putting the rest of the bagels and muffins in bags despite still being open for business).

My go to for personal orders and for morning business meetings!! Take out is always ready on time. Highly recommend my favorite breakfast brunch and lunch spot!!
