Excellent cheese steak. I wish they had some locations in Detroit, but I'd gladly drive an hour north for a Big John's cheese steak again. I'd been wanting to try one for years, and finally made it.
I am a Michigander who resides in another state. I came home for a visit and wanted to purchase a favorite food. A Big John Steak n Onion!
I drove an hour to this location ( which is not the one I usually visit).
The interior of the bldg was well maintained, the counter person and the grill cook were amazing. They were polite, patient, and efficient. The cashier made suggestions on food, sauce etc.

I came in here today and honestly am so pleased with the experience. I’ve loved big john’s but the smiley faces and the help of me not having my glasses (sorry ladies!😂) was amazing. They were so sweet! My fav location
