Is there any explanation as to why Cassie the general manager feels the need to scream at the workers at this location? Take your team to the back of the restaurant and coach them don’t belittle them in front of your paying customers. Definitely a different feel in the atmosphere the last few times I’ve been here and I will definitely not be returning for a while. To the waitresses and the cooks keep your smile bright and remember don’t let anyone bring you down. You’re the reason that place is in business not Gordan Ramsey.

We were seated right away. Sat there with menus for 10 minutes, no waitress or drinks. As we sat, we observed used coffee creamer cups on the floor near our table but in the aisle. We also watched as 4 different waitstaff and the hostess stepped right on them instead of taking two seconds to pick them up. Service has always been mediocre here, but today was just unbelievable as I watched all of the waitresses laughing and standing behind the counter while we sat and waited and were ignored. Needless to say we will not be returning to this location.

Lovely breakfast with mom. Service was great and the food was very good. Mom had a breakfast bowl, she didn't care for the potatoes in it, but she liked it, that was just her opinion.
I had steak and eggs with banana bread. Very good! Meat cooked tender, hashbrowns were cooked well, and the banana bread is delicious.
We will be back.

TLDR; burnt food, overworked staff, dirty dishes

It’s sad how much this place has gone downhill, I used to enjoy taking my family here. I won’t be going back. It is very obviously cut down to the bare bones there and I feel bad for the employees for being overworked. I just get cheapskate vibes from looking around. They don’t even have napkin dispensers on the table or a cloth napkin, so you have to bother your busy waitress when you need little things like that. Plus it took us a long time to even get our food to begin with. The silverware was gross, and we asked for plastic instead. It seemingly looks fine but they are all covered in a layer of grime and need a good soaking/scrubbing. I polished a small spot so it really is silver underneath, all of our utensils were like this. The jar style glasses also look like the could be cleaned better they were dusty around the threading on the rim. Didn’t even end up eating my food because it was burned. The menu described it as having sautéed mushrooms which I got 4 pieces I had to dig for that don’t add up to a whole mushroom. After that it made me realize all of the onions were burnt and one side of the steak tips. The home fries and eggs were bland. I sent the meal back and they didn’t charge for it. I will say at the very least they correct their problems but disappointing to have them come up to begin with. If you burn/ruin food you need to own it and start over. Last time I came here got a pancake hidden in the bottom of my stack that was white as a ghost, they did remake it but I think the cooks need to stop sending out garbage mistake food. If you won’t eat it don’t send it. My husbands plate of food this time did look good but I felt bad to keep bothering my busy waitress nor did I want to take my chances for the price. Instead I opt not to come back and I wouldn’t recommend going here.

So I’m making a public service announcement! DON’T ORDER A DINNER FROM BOB EVANS ! We ordered the Holiday Family Meal
That was supposed to serve 6! Pictured is how many potatoes we received, I’m not sure it would serve 2 people ! That is my standard pot I would make my mashed potatoes in … the Turkey wasn’t the best it was stuck to the dressing and it was from a turkey roll or something ( I ended up feeding it to my dogs)
I did call up to the store to make sure we got the right dinner that was supposed to feed 6! They tried telling me it was only for 3-4 people and I said well it states on your website it will feed 6! She then hung up on me !!! Bob Evans on Hill Rd. Grand Blanc
I have since called the corporate number 4 times which takes you to India or somewhere else I asked they wouldn’t tell me where they were located ! Each time I was told a customer operations manager would return my call with in 24-48 hrs … well I’m still waiting !!!!

So just letting you know !!!
DO NOT ORDER A HOLIDAY DINNER FROM BOB EVANS ! You will be VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

12/9/24 Worst experience my aunt and I ever had at Bob Evan’s, disappointing especially at this location. I understand being short staffed, but we waited to be seated then waited almost an hour for food, that did not look appetizing and looked like it was thrown on the plate. And 3 other tables seated AFTER us received their food long before us. Short staffed is one thing, but the manager did not seem to care at all and never asked how the meal was or cared to help out at tables. Thats poor management and a disappointing experience.

Waitress was amazing, but it took a good 25 minutes to get our breakfast kitchen time is terrible, and the home fries were cold and tasted old, service was on 11/20/24 ordered our food around 930 am was just about 10am before getting it, never again

We got to the restaurant around 4pm the bus boy showed us to a table. We ordered coffee and the waitress took our order. At 4:15pm the table behind us arrived. They got their food before us. So did the table that got there at 4:25pm. Everyone around was eating their food so we decided to leave. Our waitress checked on us one time then never came back to the table after that. After 30 minutes we slowly got up to pay for our coffee and the staff never even looked at us. We managed to flag down another waitress. She said the coffee was on the house. So we had to go to another restaurant to get dinner.
