Delicious chicken with friendly service. The “Shack Potatoes” are great as well.

I've been going to chicken shack for 30+ years they need to put one in Saginaw.

The chicken here is very good but I was shocked by the prices. A 2 piece SNACK was $12.99 come on . I was getting ready to leave until I saw a 8 piece chicken with 1 side for $18.00 dark meat that is what I left with. Not going back until they put out some coupons

With tax included be prepared to pay almost 20 bux for a 4 piece with 1 side yes that's correct the prices are sky high

So I like to be fair when I review and mistakes do happen. I ordered the 8 piece chicken. I ate a drumstick first and it was delicious and very moist inside. However the next piece, the upper thigh was raw when I cut into it. So were the two breasts and the other thigh. The wings were done and the two drumsticks were done but the rest were raw inside. I checked the raw pieces with a meat thermometer and it was 125 degrees. I put everything in my air fryer and air fried it for 12 minutes or until I got 165 degrees on everything. I know I should have returned it but it was dinner time and the air fryer fixed the situation. This has happened to me when I fry chicken so I know this happens, however this should not be happening when ordering from a reputable restaurant that specializes in Fried Chicken. Please make sure your staff checks all the chicken and that it is completely cooked before giving it to a customer.

There’s not much to say about the chicken. I was expecting big flavors but was left with bland chicken. The chicken bites were similar to what you get at your local Chinese take out. The Coke was watered down, Shake Potatoes slightly under cooked. The fries and the roll were the best part of the meal. Needless to say, we tried it and won’t be returning.

Gave 5 stars because our meal Sunday night was amazing. Ordered early for a later pick up and food was accidentally made right away. Manager was super apologetic and made a new order right away. It was amazing!!!!
Last night I wanted to try the tenders for the first time. They were basically inedible. They were so dry. I will gladly be back for the bone in chicken again though.
