STIX at The Captain's Club

Would have rated them higher as the food was very good, the our server over charged us for the happy hour beer and didn’t give us our Captains Club member discount! (We even gave her our name to do it!) there were only 2 other couples eatting at the time- so she just needs to pay attention.

We went two weeks for Trivia; the trivia host was great! The food was OK but not worth the price, the drinks were also pricy, but the reason we will not be going back is because of the lack of service. There was 30 minutes where a waiter or waitress was not seen anywhere. This is a smaller venue and therefore we could tell for some reason they were all in the kitchen. This occurred both nights. Not only did it make our experience unpleasant the staff and restaurant lost revenue, would have ordered more drinks, dessert extra which would have increased their tip.

Huge improvement to the golf course and restaurant! Really enjoyed it! Food was good, staff real good! Service phenomenal.

We were the only 2 people dinning. Tyler was our waiter who showed his little experience in waiting tables. When asking him if we could hear the choices of tequila for our margaritas he chuckled and said we only have one. drinks were good. Entrée s were minimal We ordered the Filet. No salad or veg went with this meal and the fries were not even warm. Had to ask for a steak knife and salt and pepper. When I asked for our bill I said can you clear these plates he replied after I get your bill. He then just took my plate not my sisters. He took my drink which had 3 more sips in it. Never offered dessert, we told him we were celebrating her birthday. It is a beautiful building but our experience was not (beautiful) will not recommend.

We had a fabulous experience at STIX! The service was excellent. We had a small private space for a post funeral luncheon and the view was amazing! Would definitely recommend. The food was great and the portions were huge!

Visiting friends in Grand Blanc, we are from Star Fife Scotland not far from St Andrews.I can only say a big thank you to one and all.Excellent food and drink first class service,despite a few phrases being lost in translation. Ordered a pick up order, was told 10-15 minutes, I left my home after 15 minutes passed and said I was here for a pick up order, the kid just said okay and went about his business after 30 minutes passed he checked up on me and asked if I needed anything, I asked if he could find out how much longer for my order, he then advised it’s been done and presented soggy fries an burger, I declined the mess that was presented to me.

I hadn't been here since it changed from Floyd's to STIX, it was wonderful. Each of us thought our food was great, it was hard to decide what to order. Will definitely return soon to try other items. Service was wonderful!

Stix is a fantastic spot! The food and drinks were top-notch, and the whole experience was wonderful. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, especially Jonathan and our server Rocco. It's also newly renovated, including the bathrooms, which have a great modern look! They have new specialized drinks, like lemon drop martinis and dirty martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives. The newly updated menu is fantastic, especially the Brussel Sprouts and Ribs and you can't go wrong with any of their appetizers.Highly recommend!

Terrible service. Drink refills were never offered. My salad never came, even though I asked for it repeatedly. They seemed unprepared.

Went for lunch last week and my dining experience was oh, so awesome. Such great customer service. Audrey and Peyton were so amazing, attended to every need with a smile on their face the whole time! The flatbread was wonderful, with fresh basil and mozzarella. Can’t wait to come back again and try more things! Thanks stix!

I’m really looking forward to see how Johnathon and Lexi continue to move STIX forward. We went for Mother’s Day brunch and the idea and attitudes behind all of the staff, including Peyton and Rocco, made the meal. This event was a learning curve for everyone involved but the food and drinks were incredible. Looking forward to going back. Get me a pool! 😉 ❤️

Dined outdoors on a beautiful Spring evening. Both our entrees, Avocados BLT and Rueben sandwiches were excellent. However, menu items were limited and not as upscale as expected. New owners have made an amazing effort to elevate the ambiance and the menu should reflect the new identity. Wine prices were also way out of line for the local area and casual atmosphere. This may turn off repeat customers.

Came into the newly renovated Stix restaurant to eat after golfing with my family, and Jonathan and the entire staff were beyond amazing. We had the bang bang shrimp, mushroom risotto and fried dough balls. Every single meal was excellent, but the service we were given was beyond exceptional. Jonathan is so professional, friendly, and welcoming. I cannot wait for the entire Grand Blanc community to experience the same level of service that Jonathan and the entire staff of Stix provide us with.
