Taboon Grand Blanc

I made a snafu with my order and thought I ordered two of the Bread and Hummus along with all my staffs orders. Upon calling about the missing hummus I was informed that she must have only heard bread (who orders 24 pcs of bread with no hummus?) sad, I say thank you and end the call. Well the owner showed up a short time later with a whole tray of hummus. Made my day! Thank you Taboon! So thoughtful!

I had my Mom’s funeral luncheon at Taboon and with only a couple of days notice Alex got everything together and made sure that everything and everyone got plenty of food and even took care of special dietary needs. Alex made sure I didn’t need to do anything other than pay at the end. I want to thank Alex and his staff for everything.

Staff repeatedly used the nearby shooting as an excuse for their behavior, but as customers who were also affected, we expected empathy and professionalism — not excuses.
Even after waiting 30 to 40 minutes for our waitress when we got our food again after another, maybe 30 minutes my vegetables were raw. The restaurant was not busy at all. The entire staff was simply distracted, talking yapping, running their mouths Not thinking twice about tables I seen two girls that were actually taking care of those tables. The rest forget about it. I asked to speak to manager. The 2nd waitress decided to spill her version of events she used her hands so much and was anxious, very problematic girl, which caused him to come over very rude, she knew what she was doing Trying to be overly sweet never works when your true character will eventually come out. My plan for her coming over to even help was to tip her big But she decided to flip the script because she thought the complaint was about her. It was simply about my raw vegetables on top of everything else. Life skills and leadership is lacking, I was graceful, tipped low because it was better than 0..
The atmosphere was chaotic, and even the owner seemed more focused on appearances and his liquor for the news cameras than on guests. Hmm, yeah ok. This experience was truly disappointing. I hope management REFLECTS and improves their leadership, training, and customer care. Because this was very poor. If I was the manager/owner I would gather my people and regroup. Simple and strong. But hey… this was our experience and it was poor, very very poor.

I was there to pickup a catering order and the owner was very rude and I nearly left without my assigned order because he wanted to deliver it himself. Thankfully he released it to me after fussing on the phone (felt like forever) with the catering company. It was an uncomfortable interaction.

First time here. Best Mediterranean food we’ve had in a long time! The bread and garlic sauce was amazing, as was the side fattous salad. And the chicken shawarma wrap, excellent! Our waitress, Lisa was extremely helpful, and friendly! Highly recommend!

Would have loved to give a better review, but the service was suspect. We were asked for our drink order before we even sat down or looked at a menu. Then was asked what we wanted to order before we could finish looking at the menu. After we got our food, the waitress brought over boxes while we were still eating. Then brought the check before we were done eating. Now brings back the credit card receipt with no pen. Guess she doesn't want a tip.....BTW the food was burnt.
