Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Grand Blanc

I haven’t been to this location in years, the last time I was here, they put chicken on my hummus veggie wrap (that doesn’t even come with a meat at all); and the cashier had an attitude and refused to refund that.
Well tonight I was in a hurry as we had sports and we needed a quick dinner, so I stopped here on the way home because it sounded good, and I had hoped their standards had risen. Nope!
I ordered two Hummus Veggie Wraps, and a PB Cup Smoothie and a new Ohana smoothie. I ordered ahead and was happy to see my order ready and complete on time. Their pick up spot is weird, its almost behind the register, so I asked the cashier if I was allowed to grab it. She didn’t even look at me, let alone greet me or answer. I went ahead and grabbed it anyway and went home.
Both smoothies were so bland, they didn’t taste even a little bit sweet.
Both Hummus veggie wraps were gross. One didn’t have any rice in it, the other had no hummus (or at least not enough to see or taste), the avocado was brown, and both were absolutely drowning in ranch. I love ranch but I had to squeeze most of it out. Made the tortilla soggy and gross.
I remember now why I stopped coming to this location! The ones in Flint are top-notch and so delicious and staff is much more friendly. I understand this Grand Blanc location is a franchise and not a corporate store, and boy, can you tell! They don’t uphold brand standards at all. So bummed I spent $32 on a crappy dinner. Won’t be back to this one.

The customer service was awful. I walked in and was not waited on until two other customers walked in. I waited for my drink, but it was not made. The two people that came in after me received their food and departed and I am still waiting. I refused my drink and asked for a refund and a phone number. I was refused a phone number and informed that they were not corporate owned. You do not need to be corporate owned to have good customer service.

I doordashed a peanut paradise from here and apparently it was made with moldy banana thanks for charging me $10 to get sick…

The staff was so loud and unprofessional, despite multiple people trying to have lunch. They were in the back yelling and laughing... Which is great that they love their job, but you couldn't have a conversation at your table or do any work. It was obnoxious, and instead of eating in, I opted to leave because it was ridiculous. It was 12:30, lunch time, they were busy but only one girl seemed to be working. One guy in the back was on his phone the entire time, while the other 3 acted like children.

Too many young kids sitting there gossiping with the employees employees not working gossiping screaming like a little junior high kids get it together

I had a fantastic experience at the Tropical Smoothie on Hill Rd in Grand Blanc! Brenda and Gabe were incredibly polite, courteous, and professional, even though they were super busy. I called because it was my first time using their app and I had trouble finding certain selections. They were very apologetic and took the time to ask what I needed that I couldn’t select.

Despite my order already being prepared for pick-up, they went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met and that my order was correct. I truly appreciate their excellent customer service and willingness to help. I’ll definitely be returning!

I ordered a health nut with whey protein and it was disgusting this wasn’t the first time it happened but I always say next time it will be better but this one it was really bad beyond disgusting.I’m never coming back to this location and I don’t recommend anyone coming to this location and order a health nut from them and it was a waste of time and money I had to throw the drink away after I drove about 20 minutes.

The Manger on shift yesterday Oct. 5th, 2024 deserves a raise! She was so professional and upbeat while training the only two workers there during a Saturday rush. Even with other customers being rude, she handled it like a champ.

I just want to say this place is great! Very nice smiling faces! A worker named Nate seem to see that I wasn’t having a very good day and he gave me a few laughs!

$8.19 per smoothie and they're so thick you can't even drink them. Also, did not appreciate being forced to leave a tip because the only button that worked was "okay" and directly next to the checkout there was a worker literally sleeping on a table. I used to frequent this location and absolutely loved it. This experience and recent reviews lead me to not want to come back.
