14 dollars for a side salad is wild. Cost and service has gone the opposite way! Not to mention i have discovered multiple bones in my salad. Please dear god. Help this place become even half of what they used to be.

Order 2 Caesar salads, 1 no croutons both with ranch instead of Caeser dressing..... Both had croutons of course, then I got 2 Caeser dressings in with each salad, like in with the salad! Takes up what is already a smaller size tray.. I get it things happen but the order was 47 for 2 salads and 2 small sides with peta, I tipped the extra change so I spent $50 , if we are going to charge more for less at least get the salads right and no need to add the Caesar dressing directly on with the salad (one spilled when I went to get it out) especially when I didn't even ask for it!!!
Seriously, it cost me just over $11 for this? Four pieces of tiny, cold, tasteless chicken? For goodness sake, I can buy a tray of four huge boneless skinless chicken breasts from ALDI for around this price, and also purchase the pita bread and make homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, baked beans, honey butter, etc. on my own. I can bet that my homemade YaYa’s meal with a seasoned chicken breast, two small sides, and a pita with butter would be less than half the price of a chicken dinner here!
No wonder YaYa’s is struggling to stay afloat. Before the original owners retired and sold the chain, YaYa’s rocked. They had some of the best homemade stuff you could buy. Now it’s a shell of its former self.
The only reason I’m giving two stars is because the guy behind the counter was friendly.

I love the way the chicken is cooked and the Caesar dressing is the best. It appears to be family owned and they even made accommodations for my granddaughter, who wanted McDonalds and allowed us to eat that there as well.

Check your chicken before you leave. I bought 16 pieces of chicken on Saturday. I get it home and there are no breasts in one box. The other box has the skin missing on pieces of chicken and a piece of meat missing on one like someone put their fingers in it. This stuff is too expensive for this kind of crap.

Not the same after they used ovens instead of its original flame broiled chicken grill. YaYa’s this is NOT the one. You WILL choke on the breast and wings.

530pm Saturday evening and they don't have chicken breast. Time to find new management, ridiculous to be out of it during peak times. Stopped to give it a shot, I won't be back

YaYa's changes when the originals owners sold several years ago. The new owners made several changes some good, some bad. I say most of the changes were bad; changing the rice, mashed potatoes, gravy and dropping the rice pudding from the menu. I had ordered what used to be a chicken breast sandwich, turned into a chopped chicken breast sandwich, it just wasn't the same and not what I was craving. The change from freshly made salad dressing and honey butter to the pre-packaged stuff, yuck! Then the big changes came, no more freshly flame broiled chicken through out the day, no pita bread thrown on the grill to get lightly toast, instead the chicken was cooked early in the day and put into warming trays, the pita was put into a bread warmer (can't think of what the correct name is), adding new menu items some good, some bad and the hike in prices. I thought those changes were though, growing up on Yaya's chicken and working at the Waterford location. Now we have a name change, no more "Flame Broiled Chicken", now its "Yaya's Kitchen". It's all in the name folks. I should have turned around and went home. I was way beyond disappointed. No broilers, :( now they have ovens. WHAT!!!!! I don't think they marinated the chicken, it had no flavor, no visible seasoning like before, the chicken was white in color, not the light brown color cooked chicken should have and it had a very strange taste, or maybe it was the salad dressing. What ever it was, it was enough for me not to want to go back. After moving from the location off of Old Bridge to Holly Rd, I really thought they would have added a drive-thru. Sometimes you don't need to reinvent the wheel, it was perfect the way it was.
