So much better service than the tavern in town. Been coming to Grand Marais for 20+ years and this place hasn’t changed a bit in a good way. Don’t waste your time at the tavern just come here
Miss Lou not only provided excellent service, she was also wonderfully entertaining. My Whitefish basket was a generous portion, very tasty and well prepared. My guests loved their Whitefish tacos. The Hematite Stout was delicious! This is our favorite place for Whitefish.
If I could give more stars I would. Salad with white fish was fresh and delicious. I was not sure about the blueberry jalapeño dressing - do not be afraid - delicious. Tried the flight of beers. Loved the pale ale and stout . Also tried the homemade sodas. Our waitress was the best, made great recommendations. We will be back.
