Beat if all, my order was ordered special and was made correctly! Great tastes beans are alittle in the runny side but great with rice, I ate it Allard felt satisfied. I'll come back again, thanks El Jalapeño
Visited there on Saturday. Food was excellent but service was terrible. we had a party of 5, had to ask for chips and salsa. Was only brought out 1 salsa and one small bowl of chips. Had to ask waitress several times for more water as she never came back to table to check. While she waited for the food, she sat on her phone in front of the register. 2 other customers were in the restaurant also while she sat on her phone.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! We have been twice now. The Mexican street corn on a stick is a favorite. My son asks to go back for it. It is a comfortable environment. They offer daily specials. Conveniently located in grant.
Had both specials today for lunch. Three taco dinner and giant burrito with cheese sauce. This is real, homemade Mexican food. Nothing fancy but just good, reasonably priced food with good service. We were there right after they opened and were told preparation might be longer. No worries as they kept the chips and salsa coming. It is not often we get up this way but rest assured, when we do, we will be back.
Delicious every time! Friendly staff great portions for price only down side is they can't always get all them meats on their menu but that's just because of availability. The tacos are amazing and burritos and so Delicious!
We are thrilled to have a Mexican restaurant with many options. The food we had thus far was very flavorful and authentic. Dine in service was friendly but could be more attentive (we were the only dine in patrons). Looking forward to trying more of the menu options. Consider stopping in as you’re breezing through Grant.
⭐️ GENUINE AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD ⭐️If you’re looking for delicious homemade authentic Mexican food & not basic Tex-Mex THIS IS THE SPOT you should try!Their el pastor tacos ARE fantastic! Their steak tortas are my go-to because they are extremely delicious & so addicting!I ❤️ El Jalapeño
This place is ok. It's not 2 stars, but certianly not 4 stars. The food is ok. Split a nacho and I had the ground beef tacos. The stand out here are the churros. They are light and crispy. I highly recommend the chocolate filled. Order them during dinner so you don't have to wait.
Had to try El Jalapeño on hubby's birthday (April 18th) because he was craving a torta! We certainly enjoyed some of our picks, like the carnitas and steak burrito!Loved the salsas! Especially the green salsa and Guacamole! The torta was okay, but we prefer them from another spot due to the bun which was a bit heavy.Definitely will be back to try more! ?

A diamond in the ruff. A must visit if you enjoy South of the border quality food. This is a repeater for sure.
Great food. Guacamole is awesome!! Don’t forget dessert - the churro sunday was a favorite!
Food was very good & authentic! Service was good but a bit slow. This is a clean restaurant with an enjoyable atmosphere.
Small place, good dry burrito. Willing to try a different dish next time.
Very friendly environment. Food was great! Loved the queso dip and quesadilla
