You can tell this place has been around for a while and that it has roots. This is a typical stop on our way back from our morning hunting trips in Newaygo. The food here is consistent and we'll priced. My favorite item however is the pancakes. Delicious buttermilk and I can taste the vanilla. Love them!

We stopped by for lunch, and we're glad we did! The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed flavorful Ruben sandwiches that truly did not disappoint—absolutely delicious. Our waitress suggested we try some dessert, and we're so glad we took her advice. The peanut butter pie was heavenly, and the warm cherry pie with ice cream was a perfect ending. Overall, this place is a hidden gem. Don't just take our word for it—come and experience it yourself!

Perhaps we decided to eat at a bad time, as it seemed pretty busy, but after watching 3 tables, that arrived after we did, get service before we did, we felt like we weren't that important. After about 45 minutes, a waitress finally took our order. My girlfriend got a salad, while I got French toast, eggs and bacon. After another 45 minutes, we were served. Eggs, ordered over easy, came out with almost completely hard yolks, while bacon, ordered soft, was over cooked. Rather than complain and wait another 45 minutes, I ate what I could and took the rest home to my fur baby.
It was great, wonderful food and staff very patient, I loved everything about it including the trains it was all around great! Will definitely be coming here again.
