They held my blizzard upside down and a good amount of it flopped out onto the counter and the girl set it down and literally ran away despite the menu saying the next one would be free. Not one of the 3 employees there even dared make eye contact after that happened.

This is the 3rd time I’ve given this location a chance…so please owner do not reply with “give us another chance” by your reviews it’s proven the quality does not change nor do y’all make it right in your reply’s…and yes last time I asked the worker to re-make it which he did and made it same exact way! Today I ordered a small blizzard and it was a good inch BELOW THE TOP OF THE CUP and melted! The customer infront of me hers was made the correct way! I’ve never been to such an awful DQ.

Visited on a Wednesday in June.
My grandma owned this Dairy Queen for a really long time and I worked there as a kid (age 5 handing out spoons and age 18 in the summer between college). When I worked there, they mainly hired 15-17 year olds and I can see that's still the same. I didn't see coney dogs on the menu so they might have removed those. I DID see the French Silk Pie blizzard listed and she was able to make one, though she seemed unsure at first even though it was on their menu. I also noticed they use one of the windows for taking orders and one for handing out food, which is surprising. During the summer (especially July 4th abd Canoe Marathon weekend) it usually gets so busy that two windows are needed.
This place holds a ton of memories for me and this was my first time visiting since my family sold it (and my grandma passed away). Customer service wasn't great, just not friendly, or full of smiles and care. I hate seeing all the bad reviews but hopefully people can be hired and trained to treat people with kindness and respect.

This location is horrible. The young lady at the front Counter was rude as hell and not at all intelligent, like literally couldn't do basic math smh. I got a large ice cream cone and the only thing large about it was the cone! The ice cream was nasty it tasted water down with no flavor i threw it out the window and I will never be back. If your thinking about going here... DONT! just go to wimpys around the corner they are 1000 times better!!

Was looking for individual ice cream cupcakes but they didn't have any.

My daughter and I stopped here around 5:30 on 3.18.25, there were 2 younger people working, a young male and female. The female took our order. I ordered a small twist dipped in cherry with sprinkles. When I received my order, it was made with plain vanilla. I politely went back to the window to let the girl know that the order wasn't made correctly, she stated I didn't order a twist but she could remake it. I told her it was fine, I just wanted them to be aware of orders made incorrectly. There was no sorry, no thank you for making us aware, simply an accusation that I didn't say twist. Heaven forbid she just didn't hear me correctly. She then had the nerve to say I was being rude. It really makes me sad to know that our younger generations (not all) lack the compassion and understanding that you find in some of the older employees (yes, older employees lack this as well at times, not saying everyone).
I also wonder, why is it that I pay more at this location for a lot less, not talking about the customer service this time, just the product itself, compared to other DQs. The one in West Branch is amazing! Lower prices, bigger sizes and definitely BETTER customer service. We won't be back to this one. Grayling DO BETTER!
I like the dip cones but have gotten other stuff is usually pretty quick service the lady that i mostly see if vary friendly and fast. She seems happy to meet my partners request 😂 they can be a little is sometimes haha

Cause the owner is rude and arrogant to his customers and this isn’t my first bad experience there it been bad all year every time I have gone there this year. He has lost a customer for good will never eat at this establishment again.

Ordered a smoothie - Tasted like ice and chemicals mixed together. Was so bad that I tried to exchange for something else, which I never typically do. The employee at the window said, “yeah, I thought it was gross too.” But when she tried to get me something else the manager refused. Even though they knew it was terrible when they sold it to me!
I reached out to corporate who forwarded my complaints to the restaurant. They chose not to reply. Won’t be back

Tough competition being this close to Wimpy’s. Decided to come here because Wimpy’s was closed. As far as Dairy Queen’s go, this one was about to the standard most Dairy Queens are. Great ice cream to fellowship with a lover or great friend over!
