We are really glad we decided to take a ride this morning to check out Grayling and this particular brewery, we had the absolute pleasure of meeting and being served by the owner, Jean and briefly met and applauded her extremely talented husband who is also the brewmaster! Don’t leave without trying the Dilla Fo’Rilla beer. The only thing keeping you from trying it would be a complete aversion to dill pickles. All the merch is available in the store and we were happy to take some home with us. We tried the amazing cod sandwich and the spinach artichoke dip (yummy) -Outstanding service beer and food

Food was amazing I had been their once before and me and my family went again recently the food was just great I had got the pigtails and cheese. Omg was it good ( I had got it both times and they made it even better the second time I was their). The server we had was very nice and was amazing at helping us out she told me how to reheat the Mac and cheese and her idea had worked. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.
Terrible experience. Place was half full, was there for 1 hour. Had 1 beer, was never greeted after first beer. Other tables said they were waiting 90 minutes for food. Everyone had to go up to bar for refills. What a shame. Kitchen must be a mess and no customer service. Will never recommend this place. So sad, it is nice inside.
Food and Beer were fantastic (the pickle beer was especially unique and delicious). Have to give two stars though because the service was so awful that I have no plans of ever returning.
It had been a few years since we last visited Dead Bear. We ordered a variety of dishes, starting with the gluten-free chicken tenders, which had a wonderfully crispy and flavorful breading—not soggy at all. Our guest was thrilled to find gluten-free chicken tenders, as they’re not commonly available. She also ordered sweet potato fries, which might just be the best we've ever had—seriously, they were that good.
Next, I tried the spicy Thai noodle salad, which was tasty but could benefit from a bit more crunch. It included a few slivered almonds, but adding more crunchy elements would really enhance it.
The highlight of our meal was the “pig tails and cheese,” which is macaroni and cheese topped with pulled pork and bacon. This dish was fantastic; I couldn’t stop tasting it and will definitely order it for myself next time!
Our server mentioned she was new, but she did a great job and made an excellent Moscow mule. This place is definitely worth a visit for some fantastic food!
Service was SLOW SLOW SLOW
not many customers- never got our food - beer was not good
Great friendly place! The service was awesome and I had the pulled pork pig tail, Reene Ledesma was my server and she was great! Tip her big!
Best place ever for some great home brewed tap beers, food is excellent as always and so is the service and staff. Shout out to Renee Ledesma your awesome.
Stopped in at dead bear with the family on my day off. Man oh man! This place is awesome! Very friendly staff. Cozy feeling ambiance just like home. Our server was the sweetest! If you want something heavy and filling for these cooler days I suggest trying the pig tails and cheese! My wife got the cod and we also shared the Reuben egg rolls! Both were terrific! And to wash all that down I had the famous Maple porter and my wife had their double IPA. Be sure to stop by if you get the chance

This is my first review ever . My family and I arrived at this brewery at 9 pm. We stood and waited to be seated for over 10 min , no one acknowledged us until I stopped one of the staff asking for assistance, then she hesitantly sat us . We were confused why negativity, then another employee approached us telling us that we are going to have a very long wait so we might not “want to eat here” then proceed to comment how the kitchen is a mess . We assured her we had been driving all day and are kids were starving. Then we sat and sat and sat .. wait staff cleared tables but no one came to greet us or take our order . After another 20 min of waiting we got up and left . When it comes to being busy I would have more understanding ! There was few tables o and the staff seemed lost at organizing their work, just wandered around and avoided eye contact with us . Nothing says don’t return here like being treated like a burden !
Understaffed, so I feel for the waitstaff. But was completely
Forgotten about in the patio area. Took an hour for food and only came out when we went and asked for drink refills. Food was cold and had sat for awhile before coming to us. Probably would have been better hot, but overall it was not great.
We came to Grayling for an overnight stay. Dead Bear Brewing Co. was our first stop for a bite to eat and drinks and they did not disappoint! Great food, amazing staff and a fun atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
Really weird and awful name. Are they serious? With a paedo bear image to boot on FB. Wow.. just wow.... gives a dark rabbit hole vibe to the place... also the food was not great and IPA was flat.
Excellent food + drinks + fast service. I had the Thai salad, side of house chips and my husband had the burger - all absolutely delicious and we enjoyed our drinks too. Definitely worth checking out!
