Staff excellent, beer very good - food however not so- burger was a disappointment all the fried food tasted like last Friday's fish fry. Extremely overpriced for the quality of burger- Tipped the waitstaff well because they deserved it. The kitchen however - management needs to address the issue - and I have personally worked in a bar/ food service and my advice is go to taco bell for better food- very disappointed in the quality of food and the price paid for such a disappointment.

I can’t say enough about this place. The staff was wonderful the owner was so nice and helpful. The food was great, they really made my day so very special. I would recommend have your wedding reception here as the first choice. I called so many restaurants and no one could accommodate 30 people. I call Dead Bear Brewing Co. and they sent all my stresses away. Love this place we will be back everytime we go up north.❤️

My husband and I went there for the first time on Thursday, Aug 28, 2025 and did not eat there since we just wanted to try the beers and were extremely disappointed. I had an amber and my husband had what they deemed a maple bacon porter which we didn’t taste any of those flavors. In addition, we couldn’t even finish them because it seemed like the lines hadn’t been cleaned in months and they tasted like dirty dishwater. On a positive note, the atmosphere was amazing, cozy and comfortable with the up north feel and the bartenders were friendly.

Terrible service. Why do you have 3 staff members just standing around and joking with eachother but you can't keep a single bartender behind the bar? Also, salt is not the only flavor on this planet.
Was recently there for a wedding reception. What could have been chaotic due to the number of people actually went very smoothly. Super friendly staff and great food!

Stopped for lunch. Got seated right away, and server took our order within a few minutes. He had a hefeweizen beer that he really liked. I had a chicken teriyaki salad. Unusual, but tasty and I couldn't finish it all! He had a burger that he really enjoyed. Good food, good beer and we would come here again!
