Stopped in for dinner on a Thursday evening at 5:30. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Which made me happy our food would be done quick and it was. We were out the door by 6. Everything was absolutely delicious. Sauces are made in house you can taste it. BY FAR the best Asian cuisine in Northern Michigan. Ill be full for hours and brought box home with leftovers. 3 meals and an app $60.
My husband’s family has a place in Grayling and they’ve never been to Mai Mai’s until I saw they had a whole section of vegan options and requested we checked it out. There was no one there when we went which worried my in laws but I had faith! Both vegans and non vegans were really happy with our food! I liked the red curry and everyone said they would go back. It’s so nice to have a place in grayling I didn’t need to modify anything to be vegan and I had multiple options...
I’m not sure why the bad reviews but i just had one of my best Chinese cuisine experiences at Mai Mai. Visiting from Florida where it’s very hard to find good Chinese food, I was blown away by the food I ordered. Prices are higher at $16 an entree but I thought to myself they couldn’t charge those prices and not be good in a town like Grayling. I ordered Green Bean Chicken, General Tso, Chicken fried rice, and crab rangoons. I thought each order plenty of food and everything...
