I've been here several times but it's been a while. This time I Ordered the pork tamales and it was mostly Masa but what little pulled pork it did have was very dry and lacked flavor. They charge for chips and salsa now which is pretty much unheard of for a Mexican restaurant. I was also charged $1.25 for a tiny container of sour cream. For a $14 meal, I just expect better quality. Not sure if I'd go back. If I do I'll update my review.

Only place to get some Mexican food in town , but it is sure the best Authentic food!!!!Love the Chimichanga De lacasa , and have tried several different things . The white cheese they put on everything is soooo good. Chips and salsa are fresh !!! Amazing food !!!Service is great and always super friendly.The only thing I don’t like is that you can’t just order Steak Street Taco alacarte , only chicken . But Great place to get your fix on Mexican food.

Good service, I had the fajita fundida and split a taquitos dip with friends both were really good. Only issue was with the name on the restaurant, was expecting margaritas and beer available and nope.

You can't find a lot of places like this in the "up north" or "up state" areas of Michigan. I can't say enough about the food.It is delicious, fresh, and the portions are large. Decore is a mixture of woodsy rustic and festive Mexican. The staff works hard and gets straight to the point but is there to help you. This is not Mexican quick service or cafe food. You'll pay more for quality and you'll get what you pay for. There is an extra charge for Chips / Salsa and also using credit cards. This is typical for family restaurants in the area. Cash works best for these small businesses. My family tries something different from the menu every time we are in the area but I always get the Spicy Beef Enchiladas.Vegetarian options: There are some dishes that are non-meat. Others can be prepared without meat. Chips and Salsa with Beans and RIce would be vegan.

Very surprised with this one and the service + food were great! The portion sizes are excellent, food was fresh and seasoned well. The interior of the restaurant was clean and not cluttered.Will definitely go back to explore the menu more!

I hate to give bad reviews but just don't waste your time. The margs aren't strong- literally just juice. The food is mediocre and the chips are like cardboard. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but things changed since they moved locations and we haven't been back since.
Expensive! And you have to pay for your chips and salsa . Most impatient waitress I've ever had or seen! Food was delicious though and I'm very picky about my Mexican food from growing up in Texas and having it there!

We were not offered chips or salsa. Waited quite a bit for food that was served mostly cold with the edges barely warm and the plate hot. The food served had to have come out of an off brand box because Gordon Food Service and Banquet frozen dinners are better than the non seasoned, no sauce, stuff on our plates. Will never go back.
