Grayling is always a stop for us when headed to visit family-it’s the perfect spot for a break after hours in the car. We always plan to arrive in Grayling for lunch at Paddle Hard because we love it there! The service is quick and friendly-I’ve never been without a drink, napkins, etc. The food is soooooo delicious! From appetizers to pizzas, I’ve never had a bad thing! I personally believe their pizzas are the star of the show-the crust is perfect and their toppings are unique combos! Our personal favorites have included the coney pizza, dill pickle, and the jalapeño popper (appetizer but still, so good)! Highly recommend!

Two of us ordered the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. I was Sunday evening and not busy. It took 40 minutes and was the moat disgusting meal I have ever had. The bottom layer was plain noodles, then what seemed like watery boiled chicken with a layer of cheese broiled on top. The waitress didn’t come back until we were ready to leave. I asked her if it was always like that, it is BUFFALO CHICKEN and had no Buffalo sauce at all, the macaroni had no cheese, but the layer on top. She said it was right, it’s always like that. If that’s the case I would advise everyone to avoid this! She did say she would check with the kitchen, but she never did. Neither of us ate our food and she never offered to do anything about how gross it was like have it remade properly or get us something else. So the main meal was inedible and the service was horrible. The garlic bread was good, but the two of us got something completely different, mine had no garlic and his had tons of buttery garlic. I won’t ever go back and was horribly disappointed.

I love that they have gluten free safe options for me (I have Celiac disease). My favorite is the chicken dill pickle pizza! Also, love the variety of gf hard ciders! The atmosphere and decor are very inviting.

Ok, my review is mixed like the tips are. My food was under cooked, but the bartender was great! She hustled and kept made sure everyone was satisfied. Then on my way out I was talking to another customer about it and in our conversation they mentioned my $30 tip to the bartender was not given to them entirely. Apparently there is this tip pooling thing . I feel mislead and disappointed I wasn't able to give them the tip they single handedly deserve.

Thank you so much for hiring the wonderful lady bartender!! She was so happy and authentic. I'm so glad my husband suggested we go here after an unexpected evening. We were locked out of our cabin. 😬 It was a night that was slowly getting worse. But the city of Grayling was awesome! I appreciate your hospitality and your pizza was also top notch! We initially ordered one and quickly knew we'd need another one to go for the now unexpected hotel stay. It wasn't the perfect evening for my husband's birthday that I had planned! However it was a great night thanks to your hard working staff!

A friend and I enjoyed dinner here one night on our way back south. The staff was friendly and the place was comfortable inside. The menu has lots of choices, and the house beers were good. I really enjoyed my lobster mac & cheese, and my friend found the coney dog pizza to be a surprisingly good meal. I’d recommend them for the food alone, but the beer was a cherry on top. Definitely worth a stop.
