So, to start things off, we don't know what happened to our coordinator, as he planned the event with us, and then just days before our wedding, we lost contact with him and scrambled to get things done and planned. Still no response from him. While trying to confirm the final details of my wedding, we did not have contact with Catering Concepts for multiple days just before the event. I tried calling, messaging, emailing, all with no response.
Then, on the wedding day, we did get our food. Unfortunately, it was ALL SERVED COLD to our guests. When my wife complained, they brought her a new plate of food that was also cold again.
Needless to say, im embarrassed to have all of our guests served cold food. Take my advice and avoid this place...
EDIT: Worth noting that we paid EXTRA per plate to have it served to our guests. Something to think about when signing up for this place.

They showed up over 30 minutes late to my wedding, then the guy delivering and setting up all the food was rude about the fact we were upset because he was late. Very upsetting when you have that many people waiting on food and counted on them to be on time.

The food taste testing months prior was delicious, and Sheri has been on top of everything; very organized and quick to answer emails and my many questions. She is also very kind and professional. The day of the baby shower Sheri and the (I wish I could remember her name!) woman who came with her arrived on time and set up the food very nicely. I also really appreciated that good and hardy plastic silverware, plates, cups, napkins, etc. were provided. The woman who helped set up earlier came back after the shower and picked up Catering Concepts' items (food racks, drink dispenser, etc.) that we used. The brunch pricing was also very fair so another star for this group. The food was a big hit at the shower, and we couldn't be happier! I DEFINITELY recommend Sheri and Catering Concepts! Thank you all again so much! :)

I love that they don't make you pay for a tasting (unlike every other caterer in GR) - it made the decision so much easier. The service from the staff the day of the wedding was immaculate. Sheri made sure our guests with special dietary restrictions were taken care of. Our guests LOVED the food - best wedding food I have ever had! Cannot recommend Catering Concepts enough!

I cannot say enough good things about Catering Creations! Sherri was amazing to work with and helped us so much with the catering for our wedding. I literally couldn't imagine not having her help with the catering! The whole team day of was super professional and did such a great job! The food was also fantastic! We had them make grilled cheese shooters (mini grilled cheese and a "shot" of tomato soup) and everyone couldn’t stop raving about it. The grilled zucchini was also a huge hit! She made sure we had some aps set aside for us so we could eat while we were doing our photos and it was a huge blessing. Thank you so much to Sherri and the whole catering team!

We went with the gold package for the bar and buffet style for our dinner and got great reviews from guests all night!! If you're looking for a wedding or event caterer in the area they are well worth the price!

Without reservations, I recommend Catering Concepts! Let me start by saying that planning a wedding long distance is tough. Everything is crammed into weekends when you are in town and lots of emails are sent with dozens of questions you forgot to ask while you were meeting with your vendor in person. Jessica and the staff at Catering Concepts couldn't have made it easier on me! Every email was responded to promptly, every meeting was detailed, informative and fit into my schedule, every question I had (and I had a lot!) was answered fully. Also, Jessica helped guide me through what they needed from us as a couple, and that helped me plan aspects of my reception that I may have forgotten and helped the whole night run smoothly! Honestly, it was flawless. And the waitstaff couldn't have been better! So kind, so friendly, so attentive. I even got underfoot (multiple times) while they were serving dinner to talk to guests at different tables, and they handled it exceptionally well. I seriously almost walked into a try of food (100% my fault) and waitstaff somehow didn't drop one speck on my ivory wedding dress! They were all amazing.And the food... it is great. We probably tasted over half of their menu and deciding what to choose was the toughest part-- it is all so great! We finally settled on Prime Rib, Sausage and Peppers and the Walleye. Seriously, taste them all. Each item is uniquely delicious! I also continued to add things to our menu until less than a week before the wedding, and Jessica and the staff handled it all like pros.I cannot recommend Catering Concepts enough! The service, the food and the staff are all exceptional. You would be wise to book them for your next event!

Catering Concepts catered my wedding last weekend at District 5 Schoolhouse in Zeeland and I cannot recommend their services enough!! Both Cori and Jessica were extremely helpful and so wonderful to work with. They took the time from beginning to end to make sure that our guests had quality food. Everyone was raving about the food all night! The Sicilian chicken and sausage/peppers are to die for- SO DELICIOUS! We also hired an hourly bartender through them and she did a phenomenal job! Highly recommend!!
