I've eaten here multiple times and have always had a great meal. I had the wings thus time and although they were nice hot, crispy, and large, I didn't care for the flavor. They were still okay with a smothering of bbq sause. This will definitely not keep me from coming back.

Went in for lunch and my eyes were bigger than my appetite. I got a 1 order of ribs, Sausage, a salad and Brussels sprouts with a corn muffin and it was all amazing!

🐷 The Tale of Hop Hog Brewpub
The gate swings open, a welcoming sigh,
Beneath the tall oak where the barrels lie.
It's Hop Hog Backyard, the spot to convene,
Where the spirit of brewing is vivid and keen.
A pig on the signage, a nod to the smoke,
Of a summer barbecue, a friendly joke.
But the true star is the rich, golden pour,
The result of a passion that asks for much more
Than just hops and hot water—it's heart in the tank,
From IPA monsters to the mildest dank.
The chatter is lively, the music is low,
As neighbors and friends watch the afternoon glow.
They gather on picnic benches, sharing a taste,
Of a brew that was lovingly crafted, no waste.
It started as dreams, just a home-brew kit small,
Now a community hub that welcomes one and all.
A perfect escape from the hustle and the plight,
Just great beer and friendship, enjoyed day and night.
That was about 150 words. Can I tell you about the kind of beer they specialize in?

Hop Hog is a gluten free person's dream come true! My sister in law and her mom are gluten free, and honestly those of us not gluten free enjoyed the taste of everything gluten free just as much! When I'm up in Greenville, I will definitely keep this on my to visit list!

Love this place! Try the Gouda Mac and Cheese with the brisket..you can thank me later 😉 Prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are generous. I love that they don't smother the food in sauce but let you add your own at the table. True BBQ done right!
