My husband and I had a lovely day in Greenville riding the Flat River trail. We decided to book a room at the Winter Inn. The place is really charming. We had a wonderful dinner with great service and watched a comedy show in the bar after. The whole experience was really good. Room was clean and highly recommended Margo’s down the street for breakfast!

I hosted a birthday party for a family member on 9/29. We were a party of 24, I believe. I have nothing but positive things to say about Winter Inn.
Carrie (manager) was great in pre-party discussions / planning via email and texting. The facility is dated, which is part of the charm, but well maintained and clean. Our waitress (I'm really sorry I forgot her name) was great. She basically took care of all 24 of us by herself. Her service was friendly and efficient. The food was very good tasting and good portions.

Not only a great hotel for experience and historical experience, the restaurant and bar are fantastic. The staff has always been excellent as well. Very, very well managed. This is a must for locals and travelers as well. They won't disappoint.

Good bar, good people, great internet speed, poor room comfort, poor in-room television reception. Will stay again.
Rooms: The rooms are very small, most include only a bed, a nightstand, a TV on top dresser, and a bathroom. The shower size varies.
Noteworthy details: The internet speed is excellent. Parking overnight in front of the hotel entrance is forbidden (city ordinance 2am-6am).
