The sushi we ordered tasted as if it was a premade roll from Publix, not a sit down restaurant. Service was awkward at the table and the hostess who sat us seem to be having a bad day and gave an off putting attitude when we asked to sit outside. We sat outside and someone had 2 dogs off leash with them and when our food was brought to us, one of the dogs tried to get a plate of ours. We took 2 bites of our rolls and decided we did not want to eat any more of them. We decided to just pay and leave. We would not recommend.

This sushi spot is one of my favorites, especially when dining with my mother! The staff is exceptionally friendly, and their vegan options are a plus. Every visit guarantees fresh veggies and consistently delicious food. I've frequented this place over 10 times, and it never disappoints.

Disappointment is the nicest way I can describe my food today. It actually look like it was leftover from yesterday. I paid almost $70 for fried rice with shrimp, pop rock shrimp and sesame chicken. The boxes were damn near empty and the food looked old and tasted old. They have definitely lost my business.

I've been here twice- once dining in and once carry out. this place is the real deal. food is so fresh, best edamame of all the places i've tried, drinks are great and good sake selection. they also handled a saturday dinner rush amazingly. my new go-to place!!! plus happy hour? who can beat it?

I always love the staff coming in to this place. And it happens to be our first time having a meal at the end of summer 2023. Like I said, the waitress was phenomenal, naturally comfortable working with the public. Very good at her job. Lovely talking with her. We split a few menu items. He did most of the sushi ordering, but I do remember, I opted for the Mongolian sushi. We both loved that. The Mongolian beef dish is also very well. Done. My absolute favorite part (besides, the cocktails and company) was my personal favorite appetizer, crab Rangoon. Although I have to say, I am usually disappointed by the quality of the crab Rangoon at most most of the restaurants that do carry . This one, WOW! It blew me away. I never thought crab Rangoon could be done in a "gourmet fashion" if you will, but they nailed it. The raspberry sauce was delicious. Presentation beautiful. Lastly, I can say, both myself, and my date would give the entire experience five stars. The meal, service, and ambience. Oh can't forget the cocktails... The cocktails were fabulous IMHO. My date tried one of their menu craft cocktails and was pleased. I of course did my old standby which is a cosmopolitan. Believe me some places can screw this up. But I digress, they did not! Thank goodness.

Excellent sushi, never disappointed. I have visited this establishment many times over the past year. Whether it's carry out or dine in, it has always been good.Edit: I’m still not disappointed in the sushi, but I’m glad the staff has a great relationship…to the point that they ignore their patrons. This is not the first time I’ve sat at the bar and been ignored. It’s too bad the bar tender didn’t get their prep work done BEFORE their service.My suggestion, order take out. The sushi is great, the people SUCK!

Sorry Grosse Pointe, you need another few sushi spots. This one looks like a sports bar and frankly I guess a short order chef can equal the quality of the sushi. It’s one of those places where they put very little seafood in the sushi and what they do put in is unspectacular. Happily for them, they have a lock on sushi in the area!
