Best French Onion Soup! - 2 years ago (also when the photo was taken)

Today, more than two years after I first discovered this place, I went back at least for the 10th time for more French onion soup. They changed the recipe recently or something. Was not anything special. Not bad, but completely different. Almost like the same as anywhere else.

You know when you find that special food at a place and you seek it out? The French Onion Soup is no longer special. It’s the same as everywhere else now. Completely mid. Go back to the old recipe.

We have been enjoying Luxe for almost a decade. We enjoy the food and atmosphere. Both are very nice. The recent price increase, however, is absolutely too much. You're good, Luxe. But you're not that good. And you just at least this family.

This was our first time trying out Luxe Bar & Grill. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. But I will say this, the scrimp presentation & flavor profile was delicious.

We were greeted. Sat where we wanted to. Immediately served cold water silverware with linen napkins. With menu's and the very nice server. I order coffee. Recieved it immediately with cream and sugar and a napkin with a spoon. Wonderful. Server came back in 10. Her name was Jessyca. Hello??. Took our Order gave answers to menu questions. Excellent. Food arrived shortly after. Jessyca checked back in 10 minutes to see were we satisfied. We were. Loved the decor. A jem in the pointe's Will be returning. The baby backs and ribs were very good. My daughter order the salmon. We were very pleased.?

What a delightful and delicious surprise. My wife and I were looking for a place to eat on July 3rd to find most places closed. We walked by Luxe twice before stepping in; honestly the name just seemed pretentious. The first thing I noticed was a server carrying a giant plate of French fries and a normal bar atmosphere, off to a good start. We ordered drinks and our Server Tomasina B. recommended the Nachos and Chicken of the day, which happened to be Chicken Monterey. Now normally Nachos are a 'whatever' appetizer for me, but these nachos are the best I've had in recent memory. The chicken was also hitting above its weight class for flavor and taste. Great recommendations.

We orders the Brussels Sprout Salad to go, two of them for dinner. We remember them being much better… not sure what Luxe changed but ours today were lacking in all the best parts - blue cheese and cherries were sparse and the chicken was overcooked.

Absolutely great service & food.We will go back and enjoy the outside sitting area next.Staff and the owner are wonderful and welcoming.Thank you for making our celebration even better.
