Decided to grab a late night bite to eat here. When we entered, there was no one at the hostess stand, so we seated ourselves. Once we were seated, a lady came over and took our drink order and told us Christine would be our waitress. After that, Christine did a great job as our waitress. The food was amazing. Has always been a GP staple since the Lucy's days. But prices have become redonkulous for some items. Just spent $120 for just two bowls of chili and 4 drinks. Won't return until they get their act together or new owners take over. Really hoping for a recession to knock some sense into places that charge like this.
Just paid over $30 for a chicken club and sweet potato fries. The chicken club was pretty bad. Chicken had a greasy taste, and avocado was not fresh. The bar tender stood over while I paid almost, and I seemed to be watching what I tipped. It was not a great experience. If you are charging top dollar for your menu, male sure your staff understand the expectations. I will come back and hopefully update my review to reflect a more positive experience.
