LOVED HOW COZY THE PLACE WAS, DIDNT FEEL LIKE I WAS GOING IN A REGULAR COFFEE SHOP , BUT LIKE I WAS ENTERING A WARM HOUSE. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, loved the fire place area?. Ordered herbal tea, a latte and 2 bananas and the total for all these was under $10 so surprisingly cheap as well! Definitely this is where Im getting my coffee when I’m in the area!

I enjoy the atmosphere, the fireplace, and the booths at this cafe. They have alternative milks, which I appreciate. But come early because they do run out quite often!Their pastries are lovely as well as their service.

Morning glory coffee is a ok place to come but it is not the best.The ambiance was cold and the cake pop was mediocre. The coffee however was good and the staff was kind.Overall I wish I could give this more but it does not meet the standard.

I went Christmas Eve in a panic when I realized I hadn't thought out what desserts I was bringing to Christmas dinner. Great selection everyone raved about all different things I got and the service was amazing

I picked up a birthday cake out of the case. Lovely chocolate with white buttercream icing- pink with edible glitter and flowers. Even more delicious when at room temperature and all flavors can be most appreciated. When I received the cake, I was asked when was the actual birthday. Then a note was written on the box, " Happy Birthday Virgo," Very sweet! Thanks for making our celebration extra special!!!!

While the vision for the cake and cupcakes for my daughter’s wedding shower was not what I expected, they were amazingly delicious. The white cake was moist, the buttercream was light and airy and the chantilly cream layer in the cake was…yum! Guests were raving! I would definitely recommend using Morning Glory for your event, but suggest providing an inspiration pic to achieve your vision.

We love the food, drinks, and atmosphere, but seriously, no changing tables in the bathrooms? A simple changing table is an easy add, and we won't be coming back until Morning Glory gets with the 21st century.
This is our favorite shop lately. The sheltered patio is perfect for a rainy weekend morning coffee. The coffee is great and the staff is friendly and quick. Love this place. So do our dogs.

I really want to live Morning Glory. It’s the closest coffee shop to home and it’s a charming atmosphere. But after three bad experiences, I’m done with it. Twice during recent visits my coffee was cold. The first time it was a latte and when I told them they just gave it a hit with the frothing steam, so it became a weak lukewarm latte. The next visit I decided to order a hot americano, thinking that would definitely be hot - it wasn’t. Then this morning, I went in and decided to get an iced americano with almond milk. It was made fine but it was $7.16! That’s ridiculous! I won’t be going back. Oh, and while I was waiting for my order a woman brought her latte back up complaining it wasn’t hot.

Baristas are super friendly. First cafe I've been able to eat food at thanks to having nut-free options. The music isn't too loud and provides ambiance when you want it, and doesn't compete with your headphones when you don't want it. It's in Google as $$ but honestly, it's competitive in price compared to other coffee shops in the area. New favorite spot.

They have the best pastries in all of Grosse Pointe, in my humble opinion. The sugar cookies are literal works of art, the cakes are spectacular and the baristas were all very helpful in suggesting which assorted pastries would best serve an event I was attending. I would recommend this place to anyone.
