Dined here last night, what a treasure. Had the Bibimbap (Beef Bowl). The beef was plentiful and everything was seasoned perfectly. I’ll try the stuffed salmon next time as that looked amazing.
Parking is easy, plentiful and free if you’re looking for options away from downtown. It’s posted on the menu there’s an automatic 20% gratuity so know before you go if this isn’t your norm.

Food was good and server was very helpful, but an 18% gratuity was automatically added without prior notice. This is absolutely ridiculous for dining in, especially since it was just with a party of 2. No signs that indicate the auto charge. Won't be coming back here

I dined at Alma Kitchen on Friday, November 1st, and I viewed the menu before I went and when I arrived to the restaurant. My server, Ashley, was decent and helpful. I had the Fried Ribs and she made sure that I had enough sauce, but the Ribs were old. I also had the Asian Black Pepper Shrimp, but it was very salty. Nevertheless, I suffered through my dining experience because I was in too much pain to make a fuss about the dissatisfaction of my food and I do not like sending food back to the kitchen in fear that they will spit in my food. When Ashley brought my bill, I saw that it included 20% gratuity so I crossed it out and put the amount that I wanted to pay. This lady came over in an aggressive manner and I told me that I was not allowed to cross out the gratuity that was originally indicated and I told her that I had the right to pay what I wanted to pay. She insisted that the 20% gratuity was indicated on the menu, so I asked her to show it to me, but she refused and she told me that it was already charged to my card. Once she saw that I was not budging, she refused to give me her name and she just stormed off in a hostile manner. Nevertheless, I stated my dissatisfaction of her conduct on my bill and I told them I would never return to their restaurant. I looked at the menu and the website before writing this review and it does not list that they have a mandatory 20% gratuity. For the record, I have no problem with tipping and most times I will tip more than 20% if the service is good. Alma Kitchen, can you please serve notice to your hostile employee that slavery is over and she has no right to speak to me in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner?

I've been here a few times in the past 2 years! Food is always great. Service is always great and the ambiance is always great! Took my son here today and he gave every part of it 10 out of 10 and he's 13 so that's saying a lot! Love love love love. Love this place. Definitely recommend!

My night was going well until our server, Skylar put all the checks at the end of our table for our party. When she brought the checks back with everyone's credit cards & left them at the end of the table I was shocked. I really didn't think she would do that again, especially considering it was credit cards. I called her over to the table & asked her about it. She told me that's what they always do when it's a party with split checks. She also said she could give them to each person once I explained that, that's not how its been done in ANY restaurant I've been to. She did pass them back. Never in my 54 yrs on this earth have I ever had a server sit everyone's check at the end of a table for us to pass around to each person. That was wild.
We were all sitting there talking about it. *Definitely a coachable moment.* This was my first time patronizing the restaurant. Everyone else that I was with said they had been there before. They also remarked that no server had ever done that before there or any other establishment. Nobody was happy about it. The food was good. Everyone talked about their dishes, as well as drinks. No complaints. However, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
Great place ,cute ,clean,relaxing I love that there was music but not to loud for you to carry on a conversation. Waitresses nice and pleasant! Food was great I had stuffed Salmon ? AWESOME ?! I will for sure come again and bring friends!!

Food was great once received my utensils. I ordered tea and had to ask for a spoon, honey, and lemon. Our food arrived, still in need of utensils and still no napkins. like I said food was good.
My favorite neighborhood dining place! Just grabbed appetizers and beverages today and brought my niece who also said yes this place is really nice. Thank you for good food good service and good atmosphere.

Wish I had visited sooner. An amazing and eclectic menu, the bar was amazing. Their well are some others calls.
I couldn't have been happier with both the meal, I got the stir fry or the staff. Super helpful seemed genuinely cheerful.
